  1. Yeah, was very promising in morning. PS for tomorrow is even more awful.
  2. The numbers for Italy and Germany seems low. Italy is 2.18mn euro itself, $ should be $2.6mn.
  3. Did I recommend this? I think not. This is something just for fans IMO.
  4. I haven't received the numbers yet. Spain TENET numbers are based on total reported by WB, though will be almost that much. However, I think that tweet may be using After 4 days being over TENET FSS as TENET had bigger Sat & Sun. Ps. I wonder where exactly did After We Collided did $10.2mn as reported. Germany is $2.9mn, Italy $2.7mn, Portugal $0.25mn, Finland & Norway are $0.25mn. That's $6.1mn in 6 markets. The only other major market is Spain.
  5. That shouldn't happen as almost all markets Sunday was over before Disney announced the numbers. Taiwan is probably because its Taipei numbers that are available at that time, Taiwan is estimated based on that, which is most of times very close.
  6. A small good news is Monday looks quite good. I am thinking 28mn. Dunkirk was just 21.7mn, that will be 29% higher. Dunkirk weekdays hold were shitty, with Thursday going as low as 14mn. Let's hope we stay over 20mn. May be it won't crash as bad as Dunkirk in 2nd weekend.
  7. TENET Second Weekend China: $30mn (New) UK: $2.85mn (-34%) / $13.2mn France: $2.92mn (-50.4%) / $10.74mn Germany: $2.83mn (-24%) / $8.63mn South Korea: $1.81mn (-38%) / $8.17mn Taiwan: $1.94mn (-20.4%) / $6.32mn Spain: $1.05mn (-41%) / $4.92mn Australia: $1.06mn (-30%) / $4.5mn Italy: $1.15mn (-39%) / $4.45mn Netherlands: $1.34mn (-29%) / $4.1mn Saudi Arabia: $1.06mn (-23%) / $3.17mn Russia: $2.67mn (New) Switzerland: $0.48mn (-50%) / $1.8mn Denmark: $ Sweden: $ Norway: $0.4mn (-26%) / $1.45mn UAE: $0.39mn (-53%) / $1.42mn Thailand: $0.44mn (-29%) / $1.37mn (Actually $1.72mn) Finland: $0.31mn (-22%) / $1.18mn Vietnam: $0.21mn (-53%) / $1.17mn Austria: $0.34mn (-28%) / $1.24mn Poland: Ukraine: $0.31mn (-40%) / $1.03mn Singapore: $0.3mn (-40%) / $1mn New Zealand: $0.35mn (+40%) / $0.9mn Others Estonia: Belgium: Hungary: $0.14mn / $0.67mn Malaysia: $0.28mn (-35%) / $0.85mn Rest of World: Total: $57.8mn / $125.45mn Will be updating it as figures are received.
  8. Nolan Top Openings 1. TDKR - $160.9mn 2. TDK - $158.4mn 3. Inception - $62.8mn 4. Dunkirk - $50.5mn 5. Batman Begin - $48.8mn 6. Interstellar - $47.3mn 7. Insomnia - $20.9mn 8. Prestige - $14.8mn 9. TENET - $11mn Approx.
  9. Dunkirk OS-UK is possible. Dunkirk did like 75mn in UK, that's definitely not happening. This will do more like $25mn. So excluding that $50mn, it will be around Dunkirk.
  10. I am thinking of $125.5mn till Sunday. Let's see. Anyways, the breakdown for FSS is something like China: $30mn / $30mn Europe: $15.6mn (-31%) / $64mn Asia/ANZ: $5.8mn (-33%) / $24mn Russia: $2mn / $2.5mn Middle East: $1mn (-41%) / $5mn Total: $54.5mn / $125.5mn China is mostly going to add another $20mn or so unless second weekend hold are better than Dunkirk. Europe can add $45-55mn more for something like $109-119mn. Asia/ANZ looks like $13-15mn more for $37-39mn. Russia am thinking $6.5-7.5mn full run. Middle East perhaps $10mn, that may happen in just Saudi alone FWIW. That gives $212-226mn in markets it has been released. There is Japan, Latin America and few Asian markets still remaining, but they won't do more than $50mn. So about $260-275mn Approx. That China under performance is really hurting. I was thinking $350mn can be breakeven, but US seems very weak to reach $75-90mn. Canada is pretty great at around $5.5mn ($60mn NA equivalent), but USA is iffish.
  11. Someone serious told me Mulan can do $100mn in China. I think that's too much but Let's hope that happens.
  12. No one sane did. Remember $30mn was a bold club few weeks back, this only did 60% of that. The problem is, it did worse than Mutants in FSS in USA.
  13. That's what I meant. Its entirely in their hand. Netflix do this very often. They put the shows in trending despite them being not that hot so that people can go, "well see its trending". I think we may perhaps never get numbers. Disney is best there when it comes to reporting, so I hope they do but I am not that confident. If Mulan works on D+, guess we will be seeing something like Soul on D+. Though Disney was dumb to not realease it theatrical outside US.
  14. I would be on team long legs in this case but something tells me not. I will be waiting for actual dailies by Tuesday for better idea. Generally we will be talking about long legs due to limited business initially as if there are capacity limitations and stuff. But as our MTC 1 & 2 data shows, the occupancy of film are lower than The New Mutants and that film isn't showing any better legs. Yeah WoM is better, so legs won't be that crap but I am not that hopeful either. Hoping for $60-80mn full run perhaps with it opening in CA & NY later in run.
  15. There's no way Mulan is even in Top 5 Disney Plus top players. That trending list is some marketing BS. Only thing that can give somewhat idea is Disney+ app downloads, even that is very poor idea of things as there are 30mn people already subscribed. Other than that nothing.
  16. So the numbers are probably. Canada till Thursday: $4mn US Sneaks: $3.4mn Approx NA Weekend: $10.9mn (1.3 2.95 3.65 3) NA Monday: $2mn Total: $20.3m
  17. Shit man. I was hoping may be Friday had some error but Saturday numbers are what that Friday will have.
  18. few small European markets like Poland, Lithuania, etc. Will release in Middle Eastern and Latin American countries too.
  19. The 9 markets it released are 6% of Hollywood international box office in general.
  20. Mulan is better than TENET in 6 out of 10 markets except Taiwan and Saudi Arabia. It could have done very well in Europe. Dumb decision from Disney to push it on D+ with no theatrical window. And if it wasn't ready for piracy and released on Thursday as films are in these markets, another $2mn was possible.
  21. Mulan grossed an estimated $5.9M internationally this weekend from 9 markets. Estimated grosses by market included: Taiwan - $1.2M Thailand - $1.2M Saudi Arabia - $0.8M UAE - $0.8M Singapore - $0.7M Malaysia - $0.6M Turkey and Qatar- $0.2M Another $0.3M Crezch Republic and Croatia. Taiwan 3.7x Taipei is a surprise. Cool though.
