  1. I guess that's enough. This is going bit too off the mark.
  2. What are you saying? You don't know how impactful is Korea on Twitter? Japan is pretty active too and not to miss entire South East Asia + India. China has its own social media. Mulan did 175mn views on strength of China.
  3. A trailer gives a film hype not the other way around. Its not like this was a surprise announcement of film nobody know. Entire fanbase was expecting it and numbers are about same range of what DC usually do, nothing abnormal.
  4. 116mn is number what you basically see for China boxoffice, which include Ticket booking charges. 107 is actual gross.
  5. Pre-sales for Monday are crazy good. Should go for ¥175mn ($25mn) Monday.
  6. Maoyan numbers: $32.5mn Sunday, $82.5mn weekend and $115.7mn till Sunday. Official CBO website: $32.5mn Sunday, $82.5mn weekend, $115mn till Sunday. Official CBO App: $32.5 Sunday, $80.3mn weekend, $113mn till Sunday.
  7. that will be just one day wonder. its valentines day chick flick. will add very little after that, unless ofcourse its good.
  8. That is bound to happen, it will be midnight in some place or other. If its post noon in UK, it will be midnight in East China, Korea, Japan, Australia. MCU trailer release at 08:00 AM PST most of the time, which is like 11:00 PM in China, midnight in Japan & Korea, South East Asia, post midnight in ANZ. That's much bigger market for CBMs than Europe. Batman released right at start of day in India, Pretty good day in China, Noon in Korea, Japan and ANZ. 24 hours are same for all.
  9. Love You Forever is looking like a beast on Tuesday. Already 75mn done in pre-sales. Will be 85-90m by end of day. Final PS 125mn mostly. I expect 120k shows, that will give it capacity of 575mn and highest possible collection of 250-270mn. I expect it to do 35% i.e. 200mn. The overall collection on Tuesday shall cross 425mn. LYF 200 800 160 WG 40 Little Women 15 Potter 2.5 Rest 5.
  10. At 17:00 142mn. Maoyan is going very smooth today. Official CBO is 128mn, which means its almost accurate. Should go for 215-220mn ($31-32mn). Monday PS are pretty good. I am expecting 130-140mn ($18.75-20.25mn) Monday. Tuesday will have huge cut in showcount. Monday will have 135k shows, Tuesday will go around 75-80k. Ne Zha occupancy doubled last year from 17% to 35%, expecting same here, that will give 150-160mn Tuesday.
  11. On main channels Batman 7 hours YT: 4.5mn views 350k likes Twitter: 11.1mn views 298k likes Facebook: 3.5mn views Instagram: 403k Seems like YT will reach WW84 numbers.
  12. yep. Far From Home had 130mn views in 24 hour. 2nd trailer of FFH was even bigger with 135mn which is rarity. this should try 70mn.
  13. It's roughly about 60% of Far From Home on all platforms, Twitter is ahead but that goes to the fact that it is an whole day online event, which means bigger engagement and Twitter views are "2 seconds", which includes autoplay. You Tube views are pretty low.
  14. For Wednesday Sneaks in Singapore GV Cinemas: 820 admits (S$17K) on 13 locs Overall should be around S$30k so far including Cathay and Shaw. I think S$250k previews are possible and mostly S$2-2.25mn weekend. Interstellar opened with S$1.69mn.
  15. I mean yeah, USA was missing $10 Billion this year and perhaps China had a chance with strong local content in normalcy. but 2020 don't belong to record books I guess.
