  1. I will be going with $9-9.5mn True Friday for Onward. Meh. The Invisible Man at $4mn.
  2. Disney is going for $1950-2050mn this year, which is mighty impressive considering this is their off year, with just 9 films, while only one studio has hit $2Bn, that too barely, since Universal in 2015 when they had JW, Minions and F7 and before that only WB in 2009 has done that. Sony is currently at $475mn but don't have anything big following from here, and at max I see them doing $1.3Bn
  3. Baaghi3 ₹15.5cr (₹18.2cr GROSS) Opening Day. -43% opening day of Baaghi2. Opening day in Baaghi franchise. Baaghi: ₹16.65cr Baaghi 2: ₹31.63cr Baaghi 3: ₹18.2cr
  4. Mine too. Also love Nikka Zaildar 1 & 2. Anyways watch this one. The film did okay in India but Canada is really good. Will cross $1million today on just 25 locs.
  5. 6. @Lordmandeep did you watch Sufna? Good love story elevated by great music but leave it in the theatre when you leave film. Music though is still in my head. @TalismanRing if you like romantic films.
  7. such things are unpredictable. we never knew Baahubali will be so before July 2015. lets hope Brahmastra breakouts.
  8. Parasite India Week 1: ₹0.82cr Week 2: ₹1.45cr Week 3: ₹2.60cr Week 4: ₹1.05cr Week 5: ₹0.49cr Total: ₹6.41cr ($0.9mn) Nett: ₹5.31cr Share: ₹2.18cr Footfalls: 2.75 lakh Occupancy: 33%
  9. No it's not about China alone. The market disturbed so far are basically Italy and SK for now. Rest are doing what is expected from holdovers. Anyways, leaving out China, the film will be losing $50-70mn, with delay, which will be recovered by an additional gross of $125-175mn internationally. Further the revenue from home video will be delayed by an year as well from now, which also bear a present value cost. So I would have pick recent date, as picked by Disney for Mulan and Widow.
  10. I think the best way to judge the affect of Corona is seeing the trend of holdovers, whether they are showing any unusual drops or not. If not its just media hype.
  11. That's roughly 2.9mn OD pre-sales. Using 3.4-3.5x gives $9.85-10.2mn. That's low. Under $45mn. Ugh.
  12. IDK what are you using as a comp but using general formula, MTC1 lower end is (490/0.8) assuming 25% gives $2.45mn MTC2 lower end is (260/0.8) assuming 13% gives $2.5mn The higher end is $3mn on MTC 1 and $3.5mn on MTC 2. I would like to think $2.75-3mn is possibility, but your word's final. Giving a random guess, will say MTC 1: $675k MTC 2: $375k MTC 3: $550k estd MTC 4: $120k Total: $1720k I don't think this shall go lower than $2.5mn.
  13. YPD was lit af back then. Donno how will I like it now. They sure killed the franchise with later two.
  14. I think they should have released the film in April. They will taking a hit of $30-50mn in marketing & $25-30mn Interest. That's roughly $55-80mn, which need additional gross of $125-180mn, which I don't think they were losing. China is shut down but its not like film was going to earn significantly there which can be earned later as well as we have seen with many delayed release.
  15. What is tracking thread suggesting about Mulan. I don't care about industry tracking.
  16. So MTC 4 suggests something around $2.25mn previews till 9:30 PM. Hopeful for over $3mn. Keyser data was at 1.8mn 6 hours back. Let's see.
  17. Baaghi3 final opening day advance PVR: ₹60 lakh INOX: ₹35 lakh Cinepolis: ₹23 lakh Carnival: ₹17 lakh Rest: ₹1.5cr Total: ₹2.85cr In comparison; War: ₹18cr (₹8cr) Tiger Zinda Hai: ₹14cr (₹7cr) Saaho: ₹7.5cr (₹9.75cr) Dabangg 3: ₹5.5cr (₹11.25cr) Baaghi 2: ₹5.5cr (₹13cr) Expecting ~₹13cr opening day
  18. Netflix started their Trending list in India this month. Ever since, FRIENDS is the only show which is there daily, today at #4.
  19. That was a multi-starrer and fact that released on a Holiday boost a otherwise ₹30cr opening day to ₹50cr. I guess Baaghi 2 wasn't that appreciated and most likely similar film fatigue in high ticket paying audience.
  20. Awful pre-sales for Baaghi 3 with barely ₹1.75cr sales for opening day as compared to ₹6cr Approx at same time for Saaho. The final number shall hit around ₹2.25cr. Expecting ₹11.5-13cr opening day for the film. If trending is same as first two, will wound up as a DISASTER.
