I see TS4 doing $520mn OS-Japan. Japan will be around $110mn per Japan thread. Add in there $30mn from Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and few others. Nice little $660mn overseas. Domestic is most probably heading for $445mn finish. That said $1105mn Approx closing.

Now producer figures are almost same as actuals. For media perspective they are par BOI most of the times, now that is sometimes because BOI is inflating numbers as well, as seen in October, Toilet, ToH, Sui Dhaaga, Kalank, Kesari, etc. Basically YRF, Varun, Dharma films.

140 is the actual number. BOI is par perfect now, except sometime they get naughty 😛 For PR purpose, they usually give high numbers for some production houses, like YRF, but usually the final number in database are okay, with very slight error, BOI numbers are usually 1-4% up/down from actuals.

South Indian films don't have proper box office reporting system. Situation is better now. The distributor get only 40% of the box office gross if it is reported to MPDAA, while on the unreported gross share is 50-70%.

Even in the towns where 35mm copies are recorded, more than 30 movies have reached this level. So was Titanic not the biggest grosser back then, as it had only 20mn admissions.

Watched Dying to Survive. Good film. First good Chinese film I watched, of the two, other being WW2. Looking forward to Ne Zha. That said, bravo to China that how big this film made. A drama with almost no crowd pleasing sequence.

So H&S won't even cross ₹85cr. Yayy. Dropped 82% on 2nd Friday.

Can we just skip to November already. I hate summer.
