  1. It has a stronger top critics score with 67% with 24 reviews, movies that tend to go rotten are already rotten with top critics at this point.
  2. Yeah, the reviews will probably be mixed, but a small number of critics really seems to want to tear this movie down. Gregory Ellwood even attacked some critics who liked the film.
  3. NTTD was 2 days before UK release and Respect the same day as early previews. Why are they doing this anyway? Candyman debut could have been better with the good reviews. MGM 2021 releases:
  4. Yeah I know. I wanted to say that it's a good comparison to see the possibility of reaching 100M, since Anabelle barely get there (102M). If/when it falls under the curve, there's no chance.
  5. https://www.the-numbers.com/movies/custom-comparisons/Annabelle-Creation/Dune-(2020)#tab=day_by_day_comparison Second weekend and 2nd Monday were pretty close to Anabelle: Creation. I think it's a good comp to see if it will get to 100M.

  7. Dune +22% from last monday, is that due to the discount?
  8. Dune collected an estimated $15.53M during its second weekend, bringing the domestic total to $69.4M FRI $5,000,000 SAT $6,600,000 (+32%) SUN $3,930,000 (-40%)
  9. Yes, even if it can't reach 100M following its natural course, we can't forget this is a awards player too, and it will have some boost/re-release after Oscar nominations.
  10. Well if you don't want to acknowledge the HBO Max release, piracy and a pandemic, it is crazy. And ignoring that Dune will do +100M more WW seems crazy too.
  11. Well it will be close, I guess. Worst-case scenario it gets to 100M after Oscar nominations.
