  1. The future is now, 2024 movie ticketing dates: Night Swim on sale Dec 11 Book of Clarence on sale Dec 11 Mean Girls on sale Dec 12
  2. Sony Classics will be re-releasing Amelie on Feb 14, 2024. Angel Studios has 7 releases set for 2024, 5 of which are untitled.
  3. I was going to mention this in conjunction with the fact that people were recently enamored with The Matrix, which had similar extensive wire work that Crouching Tiger also displayed, so it gave audiences more of that kind of action, along with rave reviews and awards buzz (which provided more of a boost back in 2000 than they do today).
  4. Die Hard will be re-released on Dec 8, will be on some PLF screens. Tickets on sale tomorrow.
  5. It was all over the Macy’s parade broadcast, which pulled in almost 30 million viewers. I get the trailer in front of nearly everything that’s PG rated too.
  6. To add to this, it's a Lionsgate title that is faith-based, and those tend to have tremendously long pre-sale windows to build up church group sales.
  7. Tickets for Unsung Hero's April 24 early access shows are now on sale at select chains. Waiting on general tix date.
  8. Re: depressing/low numbers, I find box office fascinating to follow whether it ends up good or bad, there’s always something interesting going on. I’m intrigued by what makes one title misfire tremendously and another succeed wildly, but I won’t really get personally invested in cheering or jeering any of them beyond a derby/club kinda way (and even then, that’s just for casual fun).
  9. American Fiction on sale Dec 1 (EA on sale Nov 24) Ferrari on sale Nov 21 The Iron Claw on sale Dec 1 (EA on sale Nov 21) Poor Things on sale Nov 20 Enjoy the weekend
  10. Add an American Fiction early access to this list, show date is 12/2.
  11. Moved up to Nov 20. Silent Night on sale Nov 21. Early Access shows (The following are show dates, not sale dates): -Iron Claw on 12/13 -Ferrari on 12/20 -Unsung Hero on 4/24
  12. BOM put the same value Freelance's opening day Friday was into its second Friday. Yet another error over there.
  13. I was about to mention this! If Swift's PR firm is considering this an extension, it's likely because most theaters are opting to keep it past the 4-week minimum.
  14. Tix on sale Nov 13. That’s not from one of my usual sources though, that’s just from the GKIDS official website, heh. Should be noted that at least one theater that’s part of the NY/LA preview engagement has them on sale now.
  15. Want to mention this again, since I’m still doing my best to remember to update this when I can. Still seeing a lot of questions being asked about sale dates that have already been shared. (I’m trying to word this the best I can without coming off as rude! Just trying to help)
  16. They did go on sale briefly at one major theater chain (my guy says it was ~3 hours they were available for), but they have since pulled them, perhaps because it was an error. Nov 1 it is, then. Part of why I try not to stick my flag on a particular day when there are conflicting dates is because stuff like this happens every now and then. One chain won't get the memo and will put tickets on sale earlier than others, in other cases some theaters are still working out arrangements and won't have them on sale until later than others, and then sometimes the studios will just cancel/delay the date outright (Sony😒). The Hunger Games date was an "or" situation, it was gonna be the 31st or the 1st. To be honest, I came across some info that seemed to imply the latter was more likely than the former, but that major chain I mentioned earlier seemed like it was still sticking to their guns that tickets would go on sale today even up until the last minute (In fact, after the last minute). This is why I tend to reply to my previous posts when adding an "additional possible date" if I'm not absolutely positive the date has officially changed.
  17. Love Actually is getting a pretty sizeable 20th anniversary re-release, opens December 8. Tickets on sale Nov 2.
