I'm not really familiar with CM so I really don't know the answer. But as far as I can see heroes in MCU don't have a problem killing people and that's fine with me. Superman and Batman has morality issues like Batman doesn't kill but in BvS he literally massacres. Same with Supes in MoS. That is why people have problem with them

But CM doesn't stand what Supes stands i.e Boy Scout. Also morality is questionable when lot of MCU characters don't give shit about killing villains. I like it. But look at Batman and Superman they have strong morality but go batshit insane and that is why they failed

You do realise CBM movies don't gross much in Japan so EG will have almost similar gross to IW maybe a little more. Pikachu won't affect it any way.
