    Yeah I never understood this "I want to puke" phrasing when talking about awards. The Oscars are a fun thing to talk about but at the end of the day the preferences of a large group of people are never going to exactly match your own personal preferences, and that's a good thing.

    That was my #1 track this year as well, overall score was very good but the category was pretty strong this year.

    Deserving but I'm still salty that HTTYD didn't even make the shortlist. That was my favorite score in a long time.

    Joker had a great score but ngl I kinda am hoping for John Williams to nab one more.

    True, but I thought it was a step up from Jungle Book and overall the visuals were just astounding. Not complaining too much as I loved 1917.

    It was always going to be 1917. Academy doesn't like to give best VFX to blockbusters.

    Haven't been following too closely but I did see several predictions that FvF could contend for best editing. Not really out of nowhere imo.

    I think it would go well over 400 million. 400 million is nowhere near as hard nowadays as it was back then. Question is would this hypothetical movie be based on an 8th HP book. That would definitely have some impact on performance, as if the story was movie-only then pretty much all HP fans would be compelled to go to the theater.

    You don't seem to understand how big HP is. I mean the Star Wars PT had pretty mixed reception but TFA still broke the domestic record.

    Harry Potter is a way bigger property that Matrix. But I don't like the idea of a Harry Potter sequel anyway. Just let the ending be.

    Unrelated but as someone who loved the first two these trailers just aren't doing it for me. I don't know why they decided to do a prequel.
