    Wait what? I just looked through all 3 platforms and I didn't see views anywhere near that. Although I just found out that the Hobbs and Shaw trailer got 106 million views somehow. Edit: According to this same article Hobbs and Shaw's super bowl spot was bigger than Endgame???

    Thing is that Joker also overperformed big time at MTC1 (though not sure if it was to the same extent as BOP is doing). Idk. I just am not having a great feeling about this. The bumps are not what I would have wanted. Hopefully the review drop helps things. Edit: The ratios are closer to normal on Friday. That may be a better comp with Joker. Giving it somewhat better bumps it will finish with ~3.2 million in OD PS. With Joker's multiple that would be about 10.6 million pure OD, I guess it would probably go a bit higher than that.

    I mean its not like Mulan has insane buzz, the views on the second trailer were pretty low. Personally I doubt it will beat Aladdin's OW but it should beat this prediction as buzz is definitely higher than Dumbo.

    Surprisingly loved this. I was worried it would be a significant step down from the awesome Bad Boys 2, but it exceeded my expectations (2 is still the best though). Action wasn't bad, but was more on the level of 1 than 2. The story, though not original, was surprisingly heartfelt and Smith and Lawrence are still in great form. Honestly I thought the son reveal was good. It made perfect sense to me considering the kind of character Mike is, and it added a nice layer of personal stakes to the conflict. That helped overshadow how generic the final act action was. Hopefully BB4 will up the spectacle to BB2 level while keeping the solid emotional hooks of this one.

    Really enjoyed this one, but I kinda missed the pure unadulterated Bayhem of Bad Boys 2. Definitely had the strongest story of the 3, I would put it a bit below 2 and well ahead of 1.

    Joker had 18096 at MTC2 on the same day but had been selling for several days at that point. By Sunday it was at 28006 and the difference there will be much more telling.

    Rewatched S1. It actually held up and I was generally entertained. Though there were some duds like Blue Shadow Virus there were also several great episodes like Rookies, Trespass, and the Ryloth and Malevolence Arcs. Liberty on Ryloth especially was much better than I remembered. The fact that the (by far) worst season aged this well makes me really excited to get to the later seasons.

    200 should happen for Bad Boys. It already had a great hold this weekend compared to Wick 3 so that is not a very good comp. It's $19 million ahead already in day-to-day grosses compared to that film and the gap for the second weekend was bigger than for the first despite Wick 3 getting a Memorial Day boost. Plus Wick 3 had another big drop in the following weekend before it stabilized.

    I mean, having that criticism is one thing, but the way you express it is another. And the fact is Ahsoka is perfectly qualified to beat Darth Maul, she has probably had some of the most intense Padawan training ever with the amount of battles she's fought under Anakin. Maul is not some sort of unstoppable force like Campea seems to think.

    What the fuck is wrong with John Campea. Just saw his comments about Ahsoka defeating Maul and they were so weird and gross. Never paid attention to the dude and I see that was a good decision.

    Skrull conflict was the best part of CM for me. Hopefully it gets more focus this time with the origin story out of the way. New director is fine, didn't particularly care either way about the direction of the first.

    Regals have a solid amount of reserved seating I think. My scraper was getting a good amount of data before I was IP blocked. Cineplex is the issue I guess.

    I think its doable, it's just that I've had exams in the past couple of weeks so I haven't really been able to look at it.

    Canada doesn't have MLK day so it will overindex at the 2 MTCs. But that shouldn't make a huge difference since Canada is such a low % anyway.
