  1. Nope. Even if Spidey ends up leaving the MCU, Thor 4 is most definitely bigger atm, especially overseas. Batman is like Spidey, he needs something fresh to stay top dog otherwise a new movie is just "another Batman movie".
  2. Ready or Not Tuesday Theaters: 211 Showings: 1113 Tickets Sold: 1155 (64% of Crawl at the same point) Tickets Available: 43623 (75% of Crawl at the same point) Estimated ATP: 11.45 Estimated Sales: 13228 (65% of Crawl at the same point) Estimated Nationwide Sales: 100k Projected Gross: 700k
  3. I wish Avengers 5 would try this just to see what kind of mind boggling number could be put up.
  4. Imagine if Endgame -had a 2 hr runtime -4 pm previews -released on a hypothetical Christmas Day Thursday
  5. Oh I totally respect and understand that, I'm just pointing out that BOT has a bit of a discrepancy with wider audience views on this and was speculating that opinions on time travel usage may be why.
  6. BOT is just odd with the IW > Endgame and this forum has a larger proportion of the time travel critics than most places is probably why.
  7. You can tell BOT has...singular taste when AMATW is below BvS and Deadpool 2 below Dark Phoenix, Electra, Howard the duck, and green lantern, and Daredevil
  8. It's funny how on BOT IW won and on a lot of websites I see so many comments that IW was better, but Endgame is (slightly) higher than IW in pretty much every audience rating. I guess the dissatisfied are more vocal. I also don't think I'll ever understand the love for SM2. It's an entertaining film but some parts are just so wack, especially the romance subplot. And Doc Ock is kinda an overrated villain tbh.
  9. For me at least, it's a rare movie that I watch and I'm pretty much entertained in every scene and totally on board. I don't think it's fair to ignore the visuals as they were really good and a big part of the appeal.
  10. In importance yes (although I think Avengers and TDK top it). To me though it feels like it runs out of momentum after the first scene with the Mark 3 (Gulmira fight). That's why I don't rank in the top tier of the MCU.
  11. TLJ was both heavily targeted by trolls and is a movie that has a bit more natural appeal to critics than audiences. If Disney was actually paying critics then where was that for Dumbo, Aladdin, or Lion King?
  12. Can't believe I forgot about Spider-Verse. I have a feeling that will be one of them. Not sure about the other one. But then probably not IW as the other because I would assume EG and IW wouldn't differ too much in scores.
  13. If there was a high proportion of MCU fans who voted I could see TDK, EG, IW. But I don't remember from the thread what the proportion was. Otherwise probably something like TDK, Logan, SM2.
  14. Edit: just realized you were referring to projections, not their midday update
  15. TDK will be #1. Then the rest of the top 7 I'm guessing will include EG, IW, Logan, Spider-Man 2, TWS, and GOTG1 in some order.
