    Both mib and shaft are not looking good at previews up here. Hard to say how much is quality and how much is the "limited family movie budgets weve discussed", but these films, dark k phoenix and others are taking a hit

    Just watching the numbers on dark phoenix....wow Dont know how much stock to put in the behind the scenes stuff coming....but this sounds its had problems for awhile

    Sounds like blame game already started for Dark Phoenix. "Unnamed sources" are essentially saying "not my fault" and putting blame on things like turner was not shown well in trailers, miscommunication about its start date with Pets (even though they are totally different demos). Deadline has an interesting writeup ( dont know if linking is allowed)

    Late Night here is at london ontario westmount thursday june 13. 2 shows 63 seat theatre 1 ticket sold so far. No shows at silvercity. Thank you i will keep add it to my previews tracking for london next week. 😊

Interesting most sales are non fancy simple recliner ( ie cheaper) seats as families trying to save money.

It will be interesting going into weekend to see if the trend continues.

    To me pets was a great one shot film that could have followed up with pixar-esque shorts before other main features. Would have worked well imo.

    Some general observations: Godzilla..wow. Already falling behind aladdin on the ticket sites, what the heck happened? Maybe theres wom of mouth of this weekend but holy cow its weird watching this occur. Phoenix and Pets. Two different demographic movies neither one seeming to make a lot of movement. Whatever the reasons a rough weekend. Toy Story4. Hearing buzz up here. People talking about it, they are looking forward to it. People i talk believe its the swan song and last time hearing hanks, allen ( and the late don rickles voice years after he passed away). For one friend he describes it for him as "end of an era".

    Just throwing this out there. Any chance that, because of seemingly monthly push for blockbusters, wom for movies that would normally get it might diminish thus because people dont have as much dollars due to said previous movies? Going from my previous post on the subject, are there less "wom dollars" right now?

    I can only speak from my encounters with friends. There was simply way too much for them as families budgetwise. They can budget our for 2-3 movies a year. Weve already had shazam dumbo aladdin. Still have pets2, lion king, toy story. Thats not counting family friendly films rest of the year (small kids so mcu films wait for streaming dvd). But thats 6 films just half way through year. Budgeting 2 to 3 have to choose from. A couple of them are going to just get a nice home theatre and get disney plus when its out. Theyll save non disney family stuff for theatres.

    6 showings on 3 Screens (1IMAX, 1 AVX, 1 Recliner) 2 showings each for Toy Story 4 Thursday PREVIEW. And seats already starting to fill up. London silvercity usually has1 screen 2 showings on previews. Wow
