It being a two parter . Doesn't mean label it "part 1 and 2" Cancelling KD and doing away with Kang completely would definitely mess up stuff and threads. So forcing all the plotlines to resolve in potentially 1 avenger movie is just disaster and convuluted . Think we agree this phase probably still needs 2 avenger movies . But some of us want Kang dealt of with completely bse I think even with a recast , think damage done to his character is quite significant. Secret war is a big story with lots of cameos and think 2 parter would be better doing it some justice . Saga is a mess and was built on rocky foundation .

Yeah like social media reactions aren't always positive. Obviously will see as more come in . Schangi chi - super positive ,that's when we know it was 90+% RT. Quantumania - Muted and that's when we had a feeling it's rotten. TLT - quite positive reactions though not as strong as Ragnarok but reviews ended up worse than Thor dark world which was a surprise. You really have to read between the lines . Grace hasn't been really hating on this movie . Going on her cryptic tweet and jumping on 90%+ train with little to go on seems Abit much .

Honestly Unless marvels some rebounding ,bombs way. So some changes will happen. Deadpool 3 is a solid money maker cap 4, thunderbolts being already shoot . release them . Skip KD. Cancel F4 for now. Cancel blade . Fast track Schang chi 2 and DS3 and make one of them a civil war type movie that brings together the new avengers team. Spidey 4 is obvious at this point. Make secret war 2 parter . Start off next phase with F4 and Xmen. Possible scenario 24 BNW - July Thunderbolts - Nov 25 Blade. -Feb DP3 - may 2025 26 SP4 -may 2026 DS3 - Nov 27 SC2 - Feb/march Secret wars pt 1 -may 28 Secret wars pt 2 - may Start of phase 7 - Nov Yeah 2028 seems far too long to keep this phase going but would prefer spacing out stuff to just two movies a year. Kept blade on due to low budget but would also prefer putting that on chopping block tbh.

We are in the fatigue phase alright , we just not in the "it's dead" region. Good ones will make money but the schloky ones or the ones with limited appeal will struggle or bomb. The era of CBMS making money due to being in a " CBM " craze is gone, it's behind us . Spiderman,batman will always be around, think superman/Wonder woman can be revived . X-Men/F4 has potential amount of storylines that can be utilized . CBMS will be around , but they won't touch the hype or exposure they had before COVID again. GA is slowly moving onto something else .

Poeple you tend to find in things like stalking ,sex offenders and sexism related stuff etc... tend to be well off ,even socially likable and attractive . Hating Disney doesn't colerate with some of the disturbing stuff that happens I've mentioned above. Well.. Abysmal tracking numbers that could leave this as one as one the biggest box office bombs of all time if WOM doesn't pan out. Numerous articles including from very high trades and even a book from an insider which are clearly stating issues with the current MCU phases. And yeah most of things in this articles are pointing out are shit some of us were complaining about in 2022 and getting the classic " naysayer,hater,your overreacting" response. It all makes sense pretty much why this thread is attracting this much traffic. This thread is pretty much tame and not toxic as some users want us to believe .

Exception being Thanos ass wasn't wooped twice by literal nobodies on the power scale .

Black panther and Wakanda forever are two highest grossing MCU solo films domestically. That's quite impressive on its own.

Think GA doesn't much care about this Knitty gritties around MCU being in flux. They just don't care about the marvels for now . Think marvels is in this weird reverse goldilocks zone were audience interest is low and everything else not working in it's favor . it's sort of paying most for the sins of the current saga .

This thread has just been about" MCU is dead /not dead discourse ,talking about it's decline , captain marvel , Yeah there have been some wierd takes thrown around but otherwise this is the most "BOT " type thread ever Not as bad as even the flash thread IMO. Conversation around MCU was fine and dandy when franchise was doing great and most were happy with the product but now that's not the case so we definitely seeing more criticisms and that will come with it's negative parts and yeah and those who were not fans will definitely chime in. Basically " there is blood in the water" Tracking numbers have just been bad from the get go. Anyone entering and expecting a slither of positive discourse was kidding themselves. We may cry " MCU/SW hate etc.... and yeah it's there but when you look through all that most underlying occurrence is that those franchises in question are not in exactly in the most healthy condition which creates this kind of discourse.

At least superman gets beat by kryptonians ,doomsday,magic weilders and ofcorse kryptonite. The only challenge she faced was being hit by the power stone by Thanos and before that literally absorbs impact from Thanos punch like nothing. Even Thor and hulk with there power levels get their assess handed to them once in a while. And with the characters I've mentioned above ,even with their power levels ,they have sizable development as characters which keeps them interesting. Once again there is no issue with her power levels. It's just that she feels overpowered in universe and nothing much seems to shake her. Adding that to her already thinly developed character and you get a boring character.

Wait CM tracking looking at 45-60m . I can agree no promotion definitely affects stuff but not to such a degree. This is a sequel to 150M+ opener. Those tracking numbers are shit and GA were just not interested in this whatsoever and buzz was muted . Marvels after latest MCU woes was always going to have a tough hill to climb.

This and marvels are not remotely in the same boat. Not happening. The whole " why are they stealing the movie from her " is dumb but still Marvels as title is just bland and doesn't really incite anything in the GA who already didn't care much about CM . If there was a trend to be expected ,we have seen on any of the other MCU movies . The title complaint came specifically for this movie. Deadpool is miles popular than CM . Naming change won't do shit to it.

Deadpool 3 feels could be in the GOTG 3 zone. Then a possible scenario were with thunderbolts and Cap 4 doing dissapointing numbers or flopping. Deadpool 3 will probably be a needed box office win like GOTG 3 but the real tests for MCU will be thunderbolts/Cap 4. And according to leaks both this movies could have some major points of connectivity . If they both suck even with Deadpool doing well MCU will still be in a ditch.

Will wait for OW and see where it opens and where WOM is. Guardians was looking like 130m then across weekend jumped to 170m.
