Yes they are. But for cap 4 , considerable portions of that movie seems to have been retooled . Marvels was also tampered with ,certain segment of that movie was cut and left on the cutting room floor. Editing in that film was terrible.

NWH literally had previous iterations coming together. DS2 had mixed reception and literally fell off after OW. Once again are we doing because a movie making money automatically makes it good. We have transformers sequels,rise of Skywalker, Jurassic world dominion all made money. Maybe to remove confusion Don't think GA likes MCU multiverse storytelling. And it's not just internet ,talked and interacted with friends who just don't care about multiverse stuff or don't understand where the whole saga is going . Sure is it the mechanic bring Deadpool and wolverine together.yeah But what does audience actually care for? Deadpool and Hugh Jackman wolverine ofcorse. and not what's the MCU bringing next . BNW still feels like a fucking bomb written all over it.

Yeah the major complaint I'm seeing is those multiverse portals. Yeah even the GA really doesn't dig multiverse . Know the whole concept is crutch susceptible to lazy writing and killing stakes but MCU really fucked it up the whole concept pretty bad . The whole thing got nonsensical from NWH but it's use was limited . It's mechanics in Loki season 1 were just nonsensical. That dumb infinity stones in drawer scene. TVA saying they see all things ,have all that power and outsmarted by one Loki variant at every turn . There whole existence makes Thanos and infinity stones feel like nothing Loki season 2 was amazing due to characters,visual and production design and music. Really cut down on the whole TVA timeline bullshit DS2 and the whole book of vishanti macguffin that's a magical book that solves everything was embarrassing and so lazy . Makes infinity stones look like nothing. Quantumania was just CGI monstrosity. Just gives the quantum realm,quantum poeple, ants becoming type 2 civilization in no time. The whole universe just starts to loose any sense of stakes or emotion. Complete clownery that is Kang . With the chatter I'm seeing . Excitement is due to Reynolds /Hugh Jackman team up and it being a Deadpool movie/fox X-Men related Than it being related to the MCU .

Liked these more than the teaser. I'm going to say these again this feels like Deadpool movie with Logan added. Besides those damn multiverse portals Doesn't really scream MCU. Audience will treat this like a Deadpool movie and doubt it will really carry any momentum forward. Rest of the slate will have to survive on its own. Think this will be closer to 850m than 1bn.

If they don't oh boy... I could see something breakout but not by much really , something like 600m range at best. June and July is where the real action begins.

Yeah as much as I loved the world something about it felt constraint . Feel some aspects weren't fleshed out especially the whole maximus side story. Brotherhood of steel could have been interesting ,but just felt flat and feel like really nothing was explored. Westworld was so much better in world building. Yeah GOT S1-S6 before it went to shit will remain the gold standard for how characters travel , location and geography and just getting a sense of where your characters are in the world.

8/10. Goggins was great and Eli purnell was an absolute delight in this. World building was great too. Was sort of ehh on the maximus plotline though.

May Fall Guy - This will do good 400-500m numbers. Not really seeing a breakout . Planet of the apes. Feel good about this one . 450m+. Perform in line with previous installments. It's not touching dawn , that was an outlier. Furiosa . Could be good but in terms of box office. Really don't have a good feeling . Low 300s with 120ish Dom. Garfield. Yeah my pick for suprise numbers domestically. Feels like illumination type movie kids will flock too. 225+ domestic,500M+ WW. As for IF and strangers chapter 1 will see. Think may will be fine. JUNE. Quiet place Day one -350M. Expect this to have a stronger os appeal than previous titles. Bad boys 4 - John wick 3 numbers. Inside out . Was originally as high finding dory numbers domestic but will go on the side of caution and lower it quite Abit but this has major breakout potential. 375M+ Dom, secret life of pets numbers WW. Horizon chapter 1. Don't really know about it's OS prospects . Can see 35-40M opening for solid 125-140 domestic. July DP4 - very strong contender for top grosser . Seen some being bullish on it and underestimating. Minions 2 just showed despicable Me franchise is still very alive and strong. Yeah the previous made 270ish in 2017. But hey we thought kungfu panda was dead and or it came back to life and expect this to jump domestically . 115-120m ow, 385-410 Dom , 1.02-1.05bn . Twisters -175M/450M. Deadpool 4 . Some are ridiculously low(700m) and some are so high (1.3b+) Should settle for 850-1.1bn depending on reception. My pick 155-180M opening ,400-450 Dom, 950M-1B WW. Expecting Dr strange 2 numbers OS which would squick it past a billion if Dom delivers on high end. A+ CS would definitely shake things up but expecting standard 2.5* legs .

Endgame has some great performances and moments. IW + half of EG is great top tier stuff. Second half still has its good moments it falls into " MCU greatest hits" ,quips and time travel shenanigans. Love IW but EG which is not a fault of it's making but it kind of undermines it in a way. Most of the characters had to come since they were the future of the franchise and it's family friendly story. It's not order 66 or red wedding in terms of effectiveness.

Honestly don't care . Will watch campea,harloff you average Joe critics any other day than so political bias critics who turn molehills into mountains . Tbh Grace ain't over political as some of the rest ,but they are times she can get frustrating. I'm not into American politics that much and even I know making Texas and allies doesn't make sense. Think garland knows that too. It's clearly fiction or alt history maybe . Based on reviews atleast It seems this movie doesn't really pick a side or take a stance and didn't want to. It's just a movie.

Godzilla 2014 is cool and direction is stellar . Even have no problem with the serious tone. My only issue is this its keep cutting away from fight scenes. Gareth Edwards sets the scenes ,the atmosphere and literally cuts away .so fucking frustrating. The moment he gives us the action , it's so dark and we just don't see enough to enjoy to its fullest. kOTM though giving as more action , tries to play it serious while character stuff is too dumb and one of the character motivations in this is so nonsensical and they try to play it straight. Godzilla 2014 has serious tone and maintains it all through. KOTM even tries to grab at our heart strings with 2 character deaths ,but it doesn't work bse don't really care about them. This movie is really dragged down by the human plot Kong skull island is the most balanced and still my favorite.lots of silly action but characters are well balanced, not Oscar level but serviceable enough and there is some chemistry atleast and not just exposition machines or vessels for dumb shit to happen. 2014 also doesn't have dumb characters and they are serviceable but Brain Cranston dies early and rest of characters are just there, nothing to latch onto .with the added baggage of little Godzilla action GVK has dumb ass shit and they know it ,not trying to play it straight or serious . Lots of mayhem .hollow earth scene was so absurd and I loved every second of it . This movie knows what it is and fully embraces it.

Only watched one Ghostbusters film and that was the 2016 and it wasn't my cup of tea. Maybe I will watch the original some day but don't have the zeal to do it. Yeah we know all about the toxicity and can argue it all day long but this movie wasn't greatly recieved. It's not in the "divisive" category. As some one viewing it as general audience,with zero attachment to franchise or characters . it was just poorly excuted comedy. Was cringing or not really funny for large sections of the time. Don't know anything about the franchise. But to me . It feels dated and I suspect that's how most in Gen Z crowd feels .

We are in the high republic era. Jedi are at the height of their power . So alot of Jedi activity. But do agree on the teaser being underwhelming and sort of dull and felt it was running through the motions. Left me with nothing to chew on really . Only the actual product will tell. It's just an under 2 min teaser.

Meh trailer. Still curious since it's the new republic era and the showrunner . Technically and vfx wise ,some shots gave me Kenobi vibes.

Thought avatar 2 was meh story wise. But this whole " it's not culturally relevant " argument has aged now. Just because it's not talked as much about as SW/Indy/MCU/wizarding world and the list goes on and on.... Doesn't really mean it's not . Infact it makes all the more impressive. The rest of the franchises I've mentioned have to maintain a certain amount of chatter to keep interest and momentum going ofcorse corresponding with making of crowdpleaser/good movies. Avatar 2 trailers were also beautiful but fine , didn't really generate much buzz online as some of these franchises I've mentioned. Both avatar movies whether one may like them or not are both theatrical experiences that demand to be seen on the biggest screen possible. They are cream de la cream ,gold standard when it comes to technical aspects and visual effect medium. Avatar don't need memes, cameos ,fan service," character X did the thing"..... It's Avatar . That's all the audience needs to see and it's enough and that's cultural relevancy , it's just different .

Anyone but you. 7/10. Bog standard story helped by very fun and likable leads. Aquaman 2: 6.7/10. Basically the first movie but way more shlock. It was fun turn off your brain knd of movie. Would have made750M+ in a world where superheroes were still a craze TLM . Yeah hadn't seen that. Outside Ariel ,the rest was pretty boring and generic 6/10 Beekeeper 6.7/10.
