I don't think a DUNE movie could ever be received more spectacularly by critics and audiences alike. Insane numbers

Dune 2 got a 5th rotten review, so safe to say that its peak will most likely be 97% and will likely settle at 94-95 I'd say

Could be, but Dune Part Two is substantially more acclaimed than its predecessor (97% RT vs. 83% RT, 80 MC vs. 74 MC) which Two Towers and Avatar 2 cannot claim. Yeah I think Dune 1 is a 7.5 or so, this is a 9 for me. Much more alive both visually with its vibrant colors, its sense of community, and in the narrative's sense of drive, purpose, and realization of its characters' arcs this time around.

Sound, Visual Effects, Production Design, and Original Score are already fully sewn up for next year's Oscars, by the way, and that's the very least I feel it could haul. Likely Film Editing too, especially if Part One won the same award.

This is a truly great movie. Dune Part One was good. I'm around a 9/10 on this bad boy.
