There is nothing called real cinema. Cinema is cinema. You guys are delusional. Why should I celebrate something just because it is nominated for Oscar? Elevated the genre.. Like really?? What's next.. Todd Philips gave Scorsese Idea about Taxi driver? This kind of over reaction is all over the internet. Either people understate it or overestimate it. And please stop using words like real cinema, it's highly pretentious and annoying. -
Joker is strictly average with fantastic performance from Phoenix. I really can't understand the argument from both sides. Joker is this year Green Book and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Have a feeling 2020s will be dominated DC. They have a very strong lineup that is less controversial and much anticipated. Will 2020s be end of Marvel Studios? I hope not but it can happen.

100% apt. He is actually worse than Ana Boden and Ryan Fleck. I noticed that personal interaction scene in Captain Marvel were very well done. Captain Marvel action and story was weak but all the personal moments were great. Dr. Strange had only one good scene the interaction between Strange and Ancient one when she dies.

Atleast her role will be larger than certain movie that came this year. It was really disappointing. PS: No fan war.

Lots of movie took its place. I can bet if it was last year this movie would have been top contender. Just think if Irishman is not winning any major award, Just Mercy is nothing. Lots of very good movie this year.

The movie was shot before the acquisition. Most of the fox movies can't be associated with Disney as of now.

Agree. I was talking about the shades that Scott is giving on twitter. He is acting like he is everything for Marvel Studios. If you read his past tweet, you will notice he wasn't able to meet deadline. Last month he tweeted many things about Disney.

If you see Scott tweet you will notice that it was more about deadline than horror movie. Scott was given 5 years to come up with sequel. Writer was also changed. It's very clear Scott wanted his mate to write the movie but Feige took control. Sometimes, directors become too cocky. I don't like this kind of behaviour. Feige is one of the most important creative head working in Hollywood and I have never seen him bad mouthing others. Hollywood elites need to learn some manners.
