Thanos abducted Gamora, making GOTG a Important part of the revolt against Thanos. What more motivation do you want?How can they have personal agenda against Thanos when they never met him before.

I don't what's wrong with a show having weekly adventure. Why does everything has to have a overarching plot? Sometimes the complains are very unnecessary. Witcher is mostly hyped by Fantasy lovers and Gamers. Stranger Things has become a Important part of pop culture. All the characters of ST are much popular than anything that is not Henry Cavill in The Witcher.

My Guess would be Ghost Rider. Kevin Feige has always wanted to work on that character. That's why Ghost Rider series was also cancelled for Hulu. Second Guess : Wanda's Children.
