Now it makes sense. Though the problem with Zaslav getting the boot (even IF that's a possibility) is twofold: A. Who would replace him? B. What guarantee is there that his replacement would be any better? -

Probably the best scenario Pixar could have hoped for. The movie clearly had staying power and is resonating with audiences. It shows that the Pixar brand still has pull with families. Feels like a movie that will perform extremely well on Disney+ and have a good shelf life on home video. But more importantly, I feel that the goodwill from Elemental bodes well for Elio and Inside Out 2. -
Probably because it has more of that traditional Pixar heart than Lightyear while still being colorful and fun enough for kids.

Migration will at least have holiday legs. Though this will be an interesting test to see how an original Illumination film does in a post covid world.
