    I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the gap in between Legacy and MoS will be even longer than the gap between MoS and Returns. 12 years vs 7 years.

    Whatever Gunn does with DC, I feel like he has play it safe until the brand has enough goodwill.

    Shrek was also a franchise that hadn't had a movie in over a decade. And it was a sequel to a spin-off, no less.

    It's faithful in that it recreates panels and moments from Watchmen. But missed the point of the source material. It glorifies in the violence the graphic novel was satirizing/condemning. It lionizes Rorschach, who in the book is a conspiratorial bigoted asshole.

    Sadly, I don't think it'll help much if at all.

    Except Puss in Boots had a visible marketing campaign and early screenings as a show of confidence.

    Excited to see a first look.

    My guess is that they're more confident in Trolls 3.

    So nice to see him being written by someone who has read something other than Frank Miller.

    It feels like any momentum has long since deflated in between this and Justice League.

    Doesn't help that the character's last appearance was as a sidekick in a poorly received team up movie.

    Superhero movie fatigue isn't a thing. At least not to the extent some here think it is.

    The more I see from the marketing, the more I become convinced that this might actually pay off.

    It's a race between this and Joy Ride to see which one is the bigger sleeper hit for R rated comedies.

    Most of this is spot on... minus the "losing faith" part.

    Is anyone tracking No Hard Feelings or Joy Ride?

    Very curious to see if No Hard Feelings and Joy Ride will continue the trend of mid budget movies not doing so well.

    Low to high 80s are where I see it landing. $40m OW and $400-450M is looking like the best case scenario.
