Everything about BA remind me of Uncharted. 41% range of critics RT score versus 90% verified audience score. Both have a B+ cinemascore. -

I don't think the muted Saturday only applied to Marvel now, it is been forever since I got a wow Saturday number. The turnout rate from family just isn't the same anymore and that is why animation is still suffer now.

B+ is a surprise to me considering 89% on RT verified score.

I once thought BA can be the only movie that 200m range in 2022 but this 7,6m preview really take that hope away. In fact, with 60m opening, I can't even sure if the movie can beat Elvis as the 2nd highest grossing WB film of the year.

54% RT score for a dump fun crowd-pleaser is not a disaster at all. Audience would be more forgiving.

I don't think so, but my point is, the teaser clip they show during Avatar re-release contain a whole lot of "Wow" factor that stunned audience than the first teaser. Those clip, especially the one with bunch of kids swimming with the marine life underwater should be the one that first introduced to public. But again, very likely the scene was not ready during that time.

My biggest problem with Avatar 2's teaser is the teaser fall short to showcase just how great the VFX are, especially you are the one of them who got to see the mid-credit teaser clip from Avatar2.

TWK seem to be the example of this. The movie A+ cinemascore didn't really help the movie to develop stronger legs compared to other Sony's poorer received offerings like Uncharted, Crawdads, BT or The Invitation.

Smile basically become a TGM of horror genre for Paramount. Wish they can allow a exclusive window of >45 days.

I can't believe this is happening, Smile has a bigger chance than HE to hit 100m.

Smile's hold is kind of a wonder. The movie didn't show significant sign of legging out during its opening weekend. The 11.3x IM over OW based on 7pm preview isn't really a mind-blowing IM to suggest a ultra strong 2nd weekend like this.

Smile in its 2nd weekend, make what most people thought it would do in its opening weekend.

Around my area, they give Amsterdam significant amount of IMAX showtimes but the occupancy rate has been a disasters, There was only 3 people for a 2200pm showtime in a 300-people hall. What a waste of resources.

I wish most of the big sized screen can play the movie in 3D. That is when the 3D effect display higher effect and more outward.
