  1. Judging by the daily drop, it will land anywhere between $60 and $70 million, but will have a softer 3rd weekend drop like $35-45 million, and then 4th weekend $15-18 million. It will gross $400-450 million when it's all said and done. Internationally probably close to $400 million.

  7. This seems like it will open somewhere in range between $41-45 million $. So $75 million when it's all said and done.
  8. And the early opening weekend predictions are between $50 and $60 million. I simply can't believe it. It would need at least $60 million opening to cross $100 million domestically. As for international, just look at this hitting $25-30 million. Let's say it hits $60 million opening... Weekend #1: 60 million Weekend #2: 14 million / 84.8 million Weekend #3: 7.7 million / 96.1 million Weekend #4: 1.8 million / 99.2 million Weekend #5: 0.7 million / 100.4 million So, it would really need $60 million to get to roughly $101 million.
  9. OCTOBER 14-16: 1. "Halloween Ends" - 37.8 2. "Smile" - 12.8 / 69.3 3. "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile" - 7.7 / 23.5 4. "The Woman King" - 3.7 / 59.9 5. "Amsterdam" - 3.0 / 11.3 6. "Don't Worry Darling" - 1.6 / 41.2 7. "Barbarian" - 1.5 / 38.7 8. "Avatar" - 1.3 / 25.5 9. "Bros" - 0.9 / 10.5 10. "Top Gun:Maverick" - 0.6 / 715.5 11. "Terrifier 2" - 0.4 / 1.4 12. "Triangle of Sadness" - 0.3 / 0.6
  10. I also don't think Ends will hit $100 million as well. Reviews will be horrible and many people left disappointed after Kills, so it will definitely lose some of it's core audience. Also Peacock now has more subscriptions than a year ago. Apart from that marketing is not as aggressive as it was for the last two films. Even the new trailer looks bad, and even Kills had an amazing trailer. Finally, this year had way more horrors to offer, so I'm not sure will the audience be there for this one. I'm sticking to $35-40 million opening and $75-80 million total.
  11. The second trailer is awful. Decision to release it simultaneously on Peacock says a lot about what Uni/Blum think about the film. I'm afraid this one will be even worse than "Halloween Kills". As far as box office, I think it can open with $40 million. I expect $77-80 million total. Overseas will probably also drop to like $28-30 million total.

"Avatar" - 2.3 / 22.6 8. "Barbarian" - 1.7 / 35.8 9. "Bullet Train" - 1.0 / 102.8 10. "Top Gun: Maverick" - 0.9 / 714.8 11. "DC League of Super Pets" - 0.9 / 93.1 12. "Ponniyin Selvan" - 0.8 / 5.4

  15. It's at $995 million as of now with barely over a million $ globally this past weekend.
  16. I wonder will drama around it push it to 20+ million opening or will this "bomb" with 10-12 million?
  17. SEPTEMBER 2-5: 1. "Top Gun: Maverick" - 5.1 / 6.5 / 699.8 2. "Spider Man" - 4.4 / 5.4 / 810.2 3. "Bullet Train" - 4.2 / 5.3 / 85.8 4. "The Invitation" - 3.7 / 4.6 / 13.7 5. 18. Don't expect much more than 0.7-1.0 million with the expansion. But that's not the problem, the film is pretty much dead outside the US. Releasing the extended cut WW would brig this one to 1 billion.
  19. I don't think any of these "scandals" will affect box office numbers. After very dry August, and September, this will do just fine. And Idk what are you talking about - the trailers look really good and people are reacting great before every film I've seen it interest was pretty big.
