  1. If Multiverse of Madness and Wakanda Forever couldn’t break a billion, why would The Marvels do it? I would be happy with Love and Thunder numbers for this, so in the $700M range.
  2. - Biggest opening weekend for a WB movie ($169M) - Biggest opening for a female director ($153M) and sole female director ($103M) - Biggest opening for a #2 opener with the #1 movie also being an opener ($66M from World War Z) - Biggest July opener maybe ($191M) - Biggest post-pandemic weekend ($282M)
  3. I believe its highest-grossing day was Valentine's Day, so probably 55 days into its run. No idea on the gross though, maybe $16M?
  4. I can't believe that after months of buildup and anticipation for these movies, both of the Barbenheimer pair were able to deliver on the hype. This weekend is gonna be one for the books
  5. i couldn't have picked a more wrong top 2, jeez
  6. Yea seems clear that Barbie will be #1 for the 2nd half of 2023. The better question is what will be the #2 movie? I'd say The Marvels is the frontrunner but something else topping it wouldn't shock me... (MIDR, Aquaman, Wonka, Wish, Hunger Games, Dune?).
  7. Yes, but that's without China and a few other markets I believe, which didn't open for another few weeks. According to Deadline: So add in $61.2M domestic opening and Fallout WW opening in all markets was $247.8M
  8. Why on earth is WB putting out a new trailer for this the same day they’re releasing a trailer for Wonka…
  9. Lol no way you believe this. Lightyear had a blink and you miss it, 2 second gay kiss (that had nothing to do with the overall story at all) and the usual suspects went crazy. Imagine if Disney had produced a movie that said “Protect trans kids” along with other race-swapped characters and BLM messaging. They might have burned down Disney World
  10. The worst part about these Flash numbers to me is that the streak of a movie grossing 30M+ every weekend since mid-February will likely be broken next week. I thought the movie's second weekend would surely be high enough to allow the streak to run until like August but... next weekend would've tied the previous record too
  11. Spider-Verse will likely be pushed back and KFP4 will take its date. So Elio should have enough breathing room in its current spot
  12. I would be shocked if Deadpool 3 doesn't hit a billion. BTSV, Dead Recocking 2, and maybe Joker 2 should all be in the mix too.
  13. It started off low with the batch of reviews from Cannes, but recent reactions have been much more positive and the movie has been steadily climbing on RT. Again, I’m not saying it can’t end up below a 70 or anything, just that it’s not a sure thing at all.
  14. That’s not locked at all. It’s currently at 71% and climbing with the new reviews. It should at least get to the high 70s on RT, which still wouldn’t be great, but would be better than a few other Pixar movies besides Cars 2.
