    Maybe the people that didn't see Lightyear are like me: They're interested, but not enough to see it in theaters, especially when there's other (more enticing) options they haven't seen yet. I'll admit due to work and inflation I haven't seen a movie since DS2, but I'm definitely planning on seeing TG2 and JW3 in the next week or 2, and LY is an afterthought.

    Well, the second movie saw a significant OW drop from the first, so the same could have happened here. This shows interest is still very healthy. Now we'll see what kind of legs it has.

    I actually think JWD opening just a hair under its predecessor, despite terrible reviews, is impressive. Looking forward to seeing the Father's Day bumps next weekend.

    I haven't seen Wandavision but was fine following the movie. I didn't know everything but it didn't prevent me from enjoying it.

    Good Monday hold for the Doc. Right now, I'm expecting a very small Tuesday decrease followed by a sizeable Wednesday drop and a nice Friday bump. I think it'll do over $400m especially with the next two weekends being virtually free of competition.

    Just saw the movie. I enjoyed it! Yes the dialog could be better, it was flat at times, and there were a couple of moments that were unintentionally funny, but overall I had a good time throughout. I like the darker elements. I think if you go into it expecting a masterpiece you'll be disappointed. But otherwise, I don't see why people wouldn't be entertained, especially on the big screen. I'm rooting for it to do well!

    TB has passed the domestic total of the atrocity that was BvS, and with its good reception it is setting the stage for the sequel to do massive numbers!

    Yep, looking like high 20's/low 30's for The Lost City with that opening. Pretty good! Weaker Friday jumps than I expected but hopefully Saturday's are good across the board.

    Do the Tuesday previews get added to the weekend number?

    Good hold for Uncharted, I was hoping for -50%. It's been so much fun watching NWH's historic run, especially in the COVID era. Sing 2 finally hit $150m. Still way under the first one but fantastic legs (6.8 x OW).

    Just watched Encanto. The movie itself was alright, entertaining but not amazing. It was GORGEOUS though, so dazzling and fun to look at. And Mirabel is very likeable. Songs were good, I'm surprised but happy that "Bruno" is catching fire. Overall 7/10.
