  1. “Spider-Man: Across The Spideverse” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-01 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 33 8339 645 7.73% SEATS SOLD TODAY 148 COMPS T-01 The Little Mermaid – 0.715x Fast X – 0.661x (3.30M) Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 3 – 0.644x (2.00M) Ok increase today, expect it to behave similar to GTOG3 tomorrow and far from Fast X, it's good that GOTG3 serves as a comp for the final days. Obs: remember that TLM is a full day Thursday, so it's expected to Spider-Verse to gross less in it's previews.
  2. I think it's going over 100M too, but I would not rule out something like 95M. I just have a feeling it's going to behave a lot closer to big MCU movies than it seems.
  3. Could be completely wrong, but I think Spider-verse is going to be end up being more frontloaded than most are assuming. I think it's doing 6,5x IM at most.
  4. Wednesday previews, so today is T-01 and tomorrow the film is already out. I will try to do a final count before shows start like I did for Fast X and Guardians 3. It's standard in Brazil, since movies here debut at Thursdays and not Fridays.
  5. “Spider-Man: Across The Spideverse” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-02 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 33 8339 497 5.96% SEATS SOLD TODAY 118 COMPS T-02 The Little Mermaid – 0.785x Fast X – 0.658x (3.29M)
  6. “The Flash” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-16 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 34 7968 110 1.38% SEATS SOLD TODAY 19
  7. “The Flash” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-17 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 34 7968 91 1.14% SEATS SOLD TODAY 10 Same thing as Spider-Verse: numbers are lacking since one of the theaters is having issues today.
  8. “Spider-Man: Across The Spideverse” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-03 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 31 8156 379 4.65% SEATS SOLD TODAY 38 COMPS T-03 The Little Mermaid – 1.139x Fast X – 0.687x (3.43M) Numbers here are a little bit lower than in reality because one of the theaters is having a problem today, so expect a bigger boost tomorrow.
  9. Hm... might be because Fast-X went crazy at T-0 and walkups.
  10. What was Thursday numbers? My unnoficial Fast X comp pointed to 4.6M
  11. More than what you predicted and less than what I predicted, we were both wrong.
  12. Black Panther did great indeed, but it was in line with other MCU movies and not a phenomenon. It was FAR from the US performance even in relative terms. Here the movie is at 16th all-time with a 43M difference to the 50th, meanwhile domestic it's number 6 with a 214M difference to the 20th. The Little Mermaid will also perform much better domestic than over here. Also, I don't want to turn this about a big race issue, but at least box-office wise, which is what we discuss over here, there is clearly a difference between the "black community" in the US and in Brazil.
  13. I don't know if this has any proper weight outside of twitter though. Brazil is not the USA, in the sense that it does not have a "black community" with similar culture and sense of unity like the USA. I don't think this will have much impact on it's box office, it will play like a regular Disney remake (excluding The Lion King which is miles ahead).
  14. “Spider-Man: Across The Spideverse” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-04 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 31 8156 341 4.18% SEATS SOLD TODAY 46 COMPS T-04 The Little Mermaid – 0.974x Fast X – 0.757x (3.78M) Probably the last day when the Fast X will go up since it skyrocketed from here. Otherwise a good day and on par with the mean number of the last two days.
  15. “The Flash” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-18 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 34 7968 81 1.02% SEATS SOLD TODAY 18
  16. I don't think it will have, the comparison with TLM is a Wednesday previews vs Thursday full day, but this is not a good pre-sales start at all. I expect the early WOM will boost it's opening to a significant degree, but people are clearly on the fence.
  17. I think this is cyclical and depends on where are you from. Right now there is no doubt Spider-Man is the most popular superhero, but just 10 years ago it was not the case in many places. I can tell for Brazil that Spider-Man is the most popular one since his introduction in the MCU and BvS being a joke, but before that it was Batman and even today he still miles ahead of the others. In 10 years it might remain the same or things might change, we never know.
  18. “The Flash” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-19 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 34 7968 63 0.79% SEATS SOLD TODAY 18 Slower start than TLM which sold 85 tickets in it's first two days, that is not a good sign at all. I guess this will have to rely on WOM to thrive.
  19. “Spider-Man: Across The Spideverse” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-05 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 31 8156 295 3.62% SEATS SOLD TODAY 74 COMPS T-05 The Little Mermaid – 0.910x Fast X – 0.724x (3.62M) Fantastic day after a terrible day. If you take the mean value it's 37 tickets a day, which is a good reasonable number for 2 days of sales, both 4 and 74 are big anomalies.
  20. Flash is still figuring out allocation, but it has sold 45 tickets on 21 shows. Tomorrow probably everything is figured out and I will bring the complete numbers.
  21. “Spider-Man: Across The Spideverse” Greater Salvador Region tracking: T-06 SHOWINGS TOTAL SEATS SEATS SOLD PCT. SOLD 31 8156 221 2.71% SEATS SOLD TODAY 4 COMPS T-06 The Little Mermaid – 0.739x Fast X – 0.577x (2.88M)
  22. I think it's landing between Aladdin and The Beauty and The Beast.
  23. I don't know if it will have enough gas in the tank to do that if this opens under 30M. The competition is going to be though...
