I thought this would do similar numbers to yesterday, but it actually managed to grow above Day-2 of sales. Tomorrow is the first day of comp with Guardians, but this is very likely going to be at somewhere in 80's% of Guardians sales at T-06.

I think Guardians having a huge increase over previous titles given the excellent WOM and also Mexico overall great momentum in BO, is a sign that Flash could be a huge hit with similar reception. Maybe I am being too bullish, but I expect it to be confortably above The Batman.

It's very unfair to say that, but I will be disappointed if Mario fails to catch NWH in lc.

Also the title will be "The Flash" here too meanwhile "The Batman" was translated to just "Batman". This is probably because almost everyone refers to "Flash" here as "The Flash" ("deflash" in portuguese pronunciation) and it became a very common expression to describe anyone or anything that is pretty fast.

Yeah, there is one particular theater here that is selling very well and others much behind. But overall I think this will do pretty good.

I guess with poor critic reception and not so good WOM (which were certainly possible) below Ant-Man numbers were definitely achiavable and @M37 was probably taking that into account when calculating the worst possible number. I don't exactly agreed with the 80M either at the time, but around 100M certainly was possible with things going wrong.

Theaters seem confident, since it was added 5 more showings since yesterday.

There is also the fact that most brazilian movies that go to theaters are absolute garbage, at least IMO. I think good quality movies like Tropa de Elite would still do great, but all we have are terrible comedies and stupid youtubers movies.

Assuming a similar pace of 48 tickets sold per day (which I don't think it will happen) for the next 5 days would put this at 88% of Guardians 3 at T-06 which is pretty good IMO given the different nature of the franchises.

The difference here is that Lion King is much more popular than Shrek.

Nice. I might ask you some numbers now and then to compare patterns with Salvador, I think it might be useful.

That seems an incredibly strong start in Natal, it sold pratically the same number of tickets than Salvador with 1/3 of seats capacity.

I have big expectations for The Flash in Mexico.
