  1. Actually, looking at the demographics breakdown, Dune's audience on the opening were 70% over 25 (44% male and 26% female) and overall 61% male and 39% female. Captain Marvel was closer at 45% female (but still not Hunger Games level) but audience was even older with 74% over 25 years on the opening weekend. I don't think it will change so much with their respective sequels since Zendaya was already a big part of Dune marketing and meanwhile Ms Marvel appealed a younger audience not many watched it. I could be wrong though.
  2. Since this thread started on may last year, how soon is it for a 2024 one?
  3. The big difference is from Facebook I think, don't know how much it did the first day but right now is at 69M views. As for China I'm not too much into their sites but just checked Weibo and the views seems almost on par with Fast x, but idk how read those numbers because when looking at the hashtag it says 500K views for ROTB today but under 100 for Fast X which is weird, probably just a glitch not sure.
  4. Yeah, also maybe it's just me but outside of A Whole New World I don't see how any Aladdin song is more popular than "Part of Your World", "Under the sea" or even "Poor Unfornutable Souls" same with Beauty and the Beast only Be Our Guest seems at the level of Ursula's song but nothing as big as the first two. In my country Under the Sea still gets even played at almost every kids party.
  5. Do we know how many families/kids went to see them back on the day? From what I found over 50% of The Last Knight audience on the opening weekend were under 25. Those who were under 13 in 2007 are still on their 20s right now and at the same time some of them could have children. Edit: Sorry 45% on the opening day, 52% by the end of the opening weekend.
  6. I doubt it came close but considering that this is only the main channels I guess it probably was still over 100M since there is also the chinese sites (not sure how much it did there though) idk if they'll reveal the data though not every trailer gets that update. There aren't numbers for The Flash yet.
  7. First 24 hours (only main channels): Youtube - 11.7M Twitter - 7.5M TikTok - 38.7M (!!) Instagram: 1.1M Facebook: 2.3M Total: 61.3M (again only main posts) Facebook is dissapointing after the first teaser numbers but it's still very strong for a second trailer overall, higher than The Marvels on the main MCU channels and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 second trailer. Gen Z in particular seems on the board with this looking at the TikTok numbers, the teaser also exploded on there with over 80M views right now (both trailers over 1M likes)
  8. Yeah that explains also why it grown up so fast on later hours (different timezone) haven't seen some asian numbers but on latam channels is doing strong for a second trailer not as good as the teaser but that should be expected. Twitter is also going bigger than what it looked on the first hours.
  9. Someone correct me if i'm wrong but i remember the teaser being at 10M on the first 24 hours and was at 30M after a month and a few weeks so if it follows a similar rate 40M before the movie release isn't out of question. Will it matter box office wise? As if it's going to be the biggest 2023 movie: not but at this point I'd said outgrossing The Last Knight is more likely than not. The hype is clearly there.
  10. My most anticipated movie of november to be honest. The trailer is really good! Looks truly great, can't wait for the arena scenes on the big screen. I like the politics aspect on this universe too.
  11. As for non-superhero action movie: It's already over the second trailer of Fast X on number of likes on Youtube and Twitter. Looks like it's going to be higher on views too at the current rate, 10M on the first 24 hours is possible (main channel) which would be almost the same as the teaser. Also not too far behind The Marvels and I believe same as The Flash (on youtube).
  12. Maybe this was the announcement after all /s
  13. On the top of my mind: Top Gun 3 Transformers x GI Joe crossover (don't think it will happen though) Sonic cinematic universe? Titanic remake Transformers own version of Days of the Future Past with Bayverse and the new continuity (lol) Live-Action Paw Patrol And...idk I really can't think of anything else from Paramount that would shock the internet, Scream 7 or any Mission Impossible relate wouldn't be so surprising unless is a weird crossover like Smile x Scream lol.
  14. Is this just an assuntion or does the Transformers want to see or social media buzz really bodes for a higher total than Fast X? I know it says personal prediction but i supposed there's some data behind it?
  15. They'll probably focus on Transformers and Mission Impossible.
  16. Do you mean only the first 24 hours of presales or the actual Mario OD number which would mean $15.5M previews? Sorry if it's a dumb question I just don't get it totally and I'm curious.
  17. What about Lightyear? It's still pure animation but since Toy Story is almost 30 years old i supposed there was some sizeable adult fanbase buying tickets. Still probably not enough compared to this though.
  18. I mean Aladdin had longer legs than Toy Story 4 that summer and Minions 2 just recently. For critics the bar isn't that high but if The Little Mermaid gets that kind of reception or something like Jungle Book or the first Maleficent from the audience it'll be more than just well received enough.
