I just saw this, I hope a sequel is made! I love the directors work. I also really liked the score, not sure why others didn't like it.

I am hoping this overperforms. One of my most hyped films of the summer, if not the most.

Movie doesn't really capture my attention. I think the Black Widow trailers have been much better.

I thought the humor was at least much better here than in Skull Island or Kong of the Monsters.

Just came back from the theater, Godzilla vs Kong was excellent! I'm hoping for big numbers this weekend!

Hopefully we get another Kong sequel after this. I kinda doubt we get another Godzilla Legendary film given KOTM underperformance.

The only major thing that bothered me with 2014 (aside from Cranston) is the cut away at the airport reveal. Up until that point I feel the film has done an excellent job building the tension and dread. Godzilla makes a truly epic appearance, the crowd inside the airport go silent as his foot hits the ground and we get a slow pan up as he roars. Then we cut away and don't get anything substantial until the ending, too little too late for me. I don't mind the teasing later but I think they should've given us something at the first reveal (small, short fight) and then save the big guns for the finale. The film always loses me as a viewer at that point.
While I love the film, I completely agree that we needed a fight scene at the airport.

I didn't care for Skull Island at all, G2014 is by far my favorite in this series. I love the dark serious tone.
Anyway, this film looks great!

Haven't been on here in months, wow, I would have thought Batman would be a lock for 175 mil+. (I was hoping for that too)
Are there concerns from many others that this will go under 150 mil?
