    I actually really liked Moon Knight up until the plot became an incomprehensible mess from I think about halfway through. Once they head to Egypt the whole thing really starts coming apart.

    I don't like Wahlberg either. I haven't paid for a single film of his, and likely won't in the future. Sorry, not sorry.

    I don't know what the latter part has to do with what I said. I paid to see all three Shia films in theaters, and I think Dark of the Moon still holds up for the most part. I just happened to get sick of Shia's act by then, and it doesn't negate that I don't want him back for more serious reasons than what I think of his performance in the movies. Granted, replacing him with Mark Wahlberg for the following ones I don't think made things any better.

    Shia got really annoying by the third movie and he's since turned out to be a piece of shit IRL. Bring back Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel, but not him.

    Tbh, I think Mario 2 is more likely to decrease and be more like the Jurassic World movies going forward. The novelty has been spent.

    FWIW, Spider-Verse doubled its amount of screenings here in the past week and tickets are now flying off the shelves after being stagnant for a bit. Walkups are probably going to be huge.

    I think a possible (if dicey) route for an Anastasia remake would be to pretty much admit upfront that it’s a ”what if” scenario inspired by the myth of her survival. A historically accurate version would’ve been five minutes long.

    They’ve got nothing left this year that’s garanteed to do as well as even Fast X DOM. Their Mario-induced lead is likely to have shrunk by the end of the summer.

    There was zero incentive for them not to go Premier Access with Luca, yet they did the dumbest possible thing they could've done. The only thing they did worse was repeating that mistake with Turning Red.
