  13. Top 20 Weekend Results (Urban Cinefile) Suicide Squad dipped the expected 57%. For comparison, Civil War had a very similar drop of 56.5% from a 13.96m OW with a running total slightly higher of 23.45m at the same point. Civil War went onto make 33.7m putting Suicide Squad on target for a total around 32m to 34m. Bad Moms had a good opening, as did Sausage Party (it's average was a tidy 11k too). JB on target for a total just below 20m. 14. and that is that ... only 3 other films were eligible and none of them are going about 50m let alone 59m. SP should wind between 30m and 40m (above what most had it at i suspect, but not making the list) PD was never going to make this list anyway... niether was FFK
  15. Bad Mums has a shot... it should be around 68m after the weekend and then possibly 73m or so by the following... it's going to go very close to passing the purge 3 if it doesn' then it's legs have fallen away. (I think it gets to around 80m by game end) Sausage Party looks like it's opening 30m+ so i'd say thats well within reason to reach 80m+ at this point unless it crashes Pete's Dragon 20m to 25m ow looks like it. a bit more dicey but it could leg it to 80m+ at this point (it was expected to have strong legs anyway) tbh - both the purge 3 & teenage mutant ninja turtles are likely to miss at this point.
  16. SP is a chance with a 30m+ ow... could end 80m to 110m depending on legs and the size of the opening.. PD - not so sure, but it's certainly in the mix also with a 20m to 25m ow... i see a game total between 60m and 100m at the moment (yeah i know wide range but i'm looking at how BFG travelled making both options possible - i'm leaning towards to the 100m side though.)

  19. Weekend Results 5th - 7th August 2016 : Simionski takes it all.... After 5 previous weekends of a @Simionski dominated we have, you guessed a Simionski dominated game. He has now sat astride the game for some 6 weeks a row. Thankfully this was the last weekend where he had an investment in a release. He is currently unable to invest in wide releases thanks to his little spree through July and into August. Anyway he led the weekend with a fantastic 186m. He is also the first player to crest the 2 Billion in Revenue in 2016. I think a lot had @Wrath or @lucasbenica cresting the 2 Billion mark first but they have both gone quiet over past few months allowing Simionski to dominate. While Simionski dominates up top, plenty of others made some dough this weekend. @grey ghost pulled in 132m in 2nd, @Exxdee who is also restricted at the moment pulled down 126m in 3rd. @chasmmi another player who is restricted was in 4th with 87m. @BourneFan #1 slipped to 5th with 38m. Can Simionski hold onto the spot with just holdovers now. How long can he hold on. Next weekend see 3 wide releases with at least 2 being reasonable chances at helping someone pip him especially if Suicide Squad sees a large fall off as it appears it may do. Oh and we have dropped to 11 players who are earning at the moment of which only 9 are actually active.
