No, that's not what happened. The "official" word was that the network wanted an all-NYC night of programming on Friday nights. That being Made in Jersey, CSI: NY and Blue Bloods. Jersey Girl went down in flames after 2 episodes aired, which is why CBS brought Undercover Boss back on the air. The real, true reason was that CSI: Miami was the more expensive of the 2 shows to produce, so it was dropped and NY lived for another season.
