Just watched the first episode. Comcast put CW shows On Demand, finally! Was surprised that Oliver's mom had re-married. Plus, did anyone notice that Oliver's bodyguard is the same actor that plays NYC's mayor on CBS's Blue Bloods? Kinda weird. Didn't expect the mom to be in on the bad goings-on. That one took me by surprise. I'll definitely continue to watch. B&B wasn't too bad, either.

All those shows everyone mentioned got renewed, or got full seasons, right? So, I'm gonna go totally out there and say it should be CSI: NY. I've got a funny feeling this is the last season anyway. TPTB aren't going to keep saving it.

The latest SoA news...

Well, some shows, but not all. I can watch Criminal Minds online, but not On Demand. If they really think that online viewing cuts down on network viewing, they're deluded. That increases viewership. I don't like watching shows on a computer, but sometimes you have to, if you miss an episode and don't want to wait for a repeat airing or DVD release.

Huffington Post UK/Tony Scott Dies: Remembering the Director of Top Gun, True Romance, Crimson Tide and Many Others

Yahoo: Bridge Tony Scott leaped off was to be used in his film According to the report, he wanted to use it in his remake of the NY gang film The Warriors.

That was shocking news to hear this morning. Tony Scott was very talented. Crimson Tide, Top Gun, Enemy of the State and others. I can't imagine what he must've been going through in his personal life to end it by jumping off a bridge. He and his brother Ridley produced two shows I like--the years ago cancelled now Numb3rs and The Good Wife--one of my favorites right now. This is really sad. I'll miss his work.

NBC: Chicago Fire and Revolution. Hopefully they'll still be on when I'm buried under 20 inches of snow... CBS: just Vegas. Michael Chiklis is awesome!!!

ABC: 666 Park Avenue for Terry O'Quinn; Nashville for Connie Britton. The CW: Beauty and the Beast just to see if they screw this up --I loved the original version with Linda Hamilton & Ron Perlman. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one. I might check out Arrow. FOX: The Mob Doctor--hopefully enough of it was actually filmed in Chicago, so it looks like the Windy City.
