  1. I think 31.25cr = $5.9M(31.25cr = 312,500,000 rupees = 312,500,000 x 0.0189 USD = $5.9M)
  2. The Hunger Games in The Netherlands:Weekend 1: €573,090Weekend 2: €587,255 (+2,5%)Weekend 3: €549,090 (-6.5%)Weekend 4: €313,574 (-42.9%)Weekend 5: €236,730 (-24.5%)Weekend 6: €154,174 (-34.9%)Weekend 7: €160,659 (+4.2%)Total: €3,413,514Today THG has passed all Twilight movies.
  3. It was a holiday week, so I hoped for a small increase. Still good though.
  4. The Avengers in The Netherlands:Weekend 1: €1,125,704Weekend 2: €1,103,407 (-2%)Total: €2,986,580
  5. From a $62.4M Friday-without-midnights, surely the Saturday record (SM3 - $51.3M) must fall? What about the Sunday record (TDK - $43.6M)?
  6. ‘AVENGERS’ ASSEMBLE FOR RECORD! $80.5M Friday, $175M Biggest Domestic Weekend, $500+M Global
  7. First week (Thu-Wed) in The Netherlands: €1,879,526. In one week is has passed all previous Avenger movies (IM2 was the biggest with €1,803,000). It still has quite a way to go to beat the top SH movie though: TDK with €4,962,000.
  8. The Avengers in The Netherlands:Weekend 1: €1,125,704Opening weekends for comparison:€888,864 - Spider-Man 3€863,058 - The Dark Knight€525,009 - Iron Man 2€448,212 - Iron Man€372,693 - Captain America€366,114 - Thor€250,501 - The Incredible Hulk
  9. The Hunger Games in The Netherlands:Weekend 1: €573,090Weekend 2: €587,255 (+2,5%)Weekend 3: €549,090 (-6.5%)Weekend 4: €313,574 (-42.9%)Weekend 5: €236,730 (-24.5%)Total: €2,946,606After the post-Easter-drop it is holding quite well again.So far it has passed all Twilight movies except BD1 (€3,418,000).
  10. The Hunger Games in The Netherlands:Weekend 1: €573,090Weekend 2: €587,255 (+2,5%)Weekend 3: €549,090 (-6.5%)Weekend 4: €313,574 (-42.9%)Total: €2,640,232Finally it starts to drop now that Easter is over.
  11. And it was at 157M last week, so that's a 37M week. Another excellent hold without any significant new markets (I think).
  12. According to BOM: "Including domestic earnings, the movie has now made over $464 million, and it still has openings in China, Italy, and Spain to look forward to over the next four weeks."
  13. It's hard to say with these holds. For comparison, it already passed Twilight 1 and New Moon here. Eclipse made €2,914,000 and Breaking Dawn 1 made €3,418,000, so it's not unlikely that THG will pass those too.
  14. The Hunger Games in The Netherlands:Weekend 1: €573,090Weekend 2: €587,255 (+2,5%)Weekend 3: €549,090 (-6.5%)Total: €2,120,718A 6.5% drop is excellent. Most movies dropped 30% / 40% this weekend.
  15. New OS total according to BOM: $157,100,000. Seems like an excellent hold.
  16. Second weekend in The Netherlands: €587.255. A +2.5% rise from the opening weekend...(WOTT opened with €392.025 this weekend)
  17. In many countries it opened on Wednesday or Thursday, so a the $59M opening already included a lot of weekdays. Dropping 7% (from $59M to $54.9M) without any significant new markets seems excellent to me.
  18. Opening weekend in The Netherlands: €0.573M (excluding €0.109M for previews). With positive WOM it could still go anywhere. For comparison:BD1 €1.010 (total €3.418)DH2 €2.711 (total €12.885)AIW €1.268 (total €7.375)
  19. According to BOM Underworld Awakening is at $77.8M now. It will open in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and several South American countries this week, so it should get a nice boost.
  20. BOM has updated Tintin's OS total to $295.4M, which paints a different picture. It made $3.6M this week, which is an excellent 33% drop from last week. Only $4.6M to go for $300M, so 45% weekly drops will get us there...
  21. BOM just updated Tintin's OS total to $291.8M. This means that it made $5.5M last week, and that it still needs $8.8M to reach the $300M mark. 40% Weekly drops would be sufficient.
  22. The similarities between Underworld 4 and Resident Evil 4 are striking: [*]Both are horror movies [*]Both have a kick-ass female lead [*]Both are the 4th movie of a franchise [*]Both are the 1st of the franchise in 3D [*]Both are doing just okay domestically [*]Both are crushing the franchise record OS
  23. BOM has just updated Tintin's OS total to $286,338,163, so $300M is still in play if it holds really well in the coming weeks. It all depends on Brazil really.
  24. What is the OS total now? Screendaily mentions $267M and BOM still has $278.8M from last week.
