  1. Nice. + $113,183,246 (Hulk 1 OS) = $840,195,219 That will take some more time, but should be doable as well.
  2. Boxoffice ‏@Boxoffice New worldwide # for AVENGERS: $1,180,400,000. OS Total = 1180 - 457 = $723M.
  3. I guess so: Exhibitor Relations ‏@ERCboxoffice Box office behemoth! Marvel's THE AVENGERS officially scored $55M this weekend, for a jaw-dropping total of $457M--#6 all-time domestic!
  4. Not really. It only needs 35% weekly drops to reach $400M. Except for TA's opening week it has consistently done so for the past 4 weeks.
  5. Gitesh Pandya ‏@giteshpandya #16.8M global THU for #Avengers w/ new cume of $1.071B for #6 on alltime worldwide list. That would mean a $10.6M OS Thursday and a $669M OS Total.
  6. Exhibitor Relations ‏ @ERCboxoffice Tuesday's top movies: 1. THE AVENGERS $8.5M ($389M), 2. DARK SHADOWS $2.5M ($34M), 3. THINK LIKE A MAN $500k ($82M) A nice 7% increase over Monday if this estimate holds...
  7. 33% weekly drops are needed from here on to reach $400M.
  8. Foreign total was already corrected from $628,900,000 to $627,300,000. I think that will be the final number.
  9. The Avengers in The Netherlands:Weekend 1: €1,125,704Weekend 2: €1,103,407 (-2.0%)Weekend 3: €527,179 (-52.2%)Total: €3,805,603Not a great hold, but the week before last week was a school holiday, so Thursday and Friday from last weekend were inflated.
  10. A $44.5M Saturday represents a mere 36% drop from last weeks $69.5M Saturday, a.k.a. the biggest Saturday gross in history. That would be incredible.
  11. In North America you take your Mom to see The Avengers?
  12. Hmm, you're right. Why can't this stuff be more straightforward... If so, it will be very close to $1B WorldWide after the weekend!
  13. Last week Wednesday added $20.6M to the total, Thursday added $22.9M, and the weekend added $156.1M.
  14. If we can get an additional $25M worldwide on Thursday, it would be exactly at $800M before the weekend. A $100M weekend in North America and a $100M weekend in the rest of the world would bring it exactly to $1B. Sounds too good to be true...
  15. Exhibitor Relations ‏ @ERCboxoffice Marvel's THE AVENGERS has now assembled $775.4M worldwide--$517.8M Int'l, $257.6M Domestic So that's a $17.7M Wednesday. Considerable drops from Monday and Tuesday...
  16. Ah, I guess it's not too bad then. Not great, but not bad either.
  17. Not that great. IM2 and SM1 had significantly better Wednesday drops, though admittedly at a different level.
  18. Because it's more difficult to find the start of the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday posts. Unless someone adds links on page 1.
  19. Third best non-opening Tuesday ever behind TDK (July 22) and Avatar (December 29).
  20. It made $262M last week (Mon-Sun). It would need a $203M week to reach $650M, which would be a 22.5% week-to-week drop. It seems difficult, even though it opened in China and Russia last weekend. Can it cross $350M in North America by Sunday?
  21. Is that $28.4M Monday real or is it just a Weekend/Monday reporting issue? That number is outrageous!
  22. $900M worldwide after next weekend? Or could it possibly already reach $1B by then?
  23. I guess TA will take most (if not all!) records that TDK currently owns at BOM:http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/?page=byrecord&p=.htmThe "5-Day Gross" record is already in the bag after 3 days!
  24. So, will it take 5 or 6 days to reach $250M? It only needs $43M...Current record: TDK with 8 days.
