i think TA has something to do with how bad movies are performing. the year started so good. no blockbuster hit, but many mid-level performing films. and then all of a sudden...everything is disappointing. and you can't say the films released in the first months were amazing quality.

which movies do you think will do good?

Movie was entertaining. I basically have the same complaints some of you have already highlighted.But the biggest one is Loki. I still don't understand the hype for the character and Hiddleston's interpretation. Maybe it's because this is a comic book adaptation and the humor plays a big part in the characterization, but Loki comes across more like a brat, he's more camp than evil. When i think of evil, first thing that comes to mind is Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List. Superb performance and a crime this actor doesn't have an oscar and booooring clooney has two!!! But again this is the nature of comic book movies. That's probably why Nolan's adaptation of batman is more appreciated. It's not campy and it will most likely stand the test of time better than thor, TA...etc. Curios to see how he handles bane.Oh and RDJ is not fun anymore. I hated him here. He's sooo annoying. My god, he's on jack Sparrow territory. Tone it down a little, man!!! I can't take it anymore. It made me appreciate CA/chris evans more. before TA i thought he was a little bland, but here he was a breath of fresh air. He and Hulk/MR made the movie.8/10

TA will have so many sellouts, people will be "forced" to watch DS.

IM3 may suffer. How can they top this awesomeness? expectations are higher now

this is acting exactly like THG (if the numbers hold). legs will be better for THG i'm afraid. new book adaptation, curiosity to see a new product..

just as i said a few days ago, i'm good as long as it beats THG OW. i don't know about total though.

true, but the avengers midnight gross is on par with THG, which had a big fanbase. so the avengers is acting more like a :fan driven" movie. it will probably end up with THG numbers imo
