There is no way TLK does $250m ow...and it could be 20+ years before we see a $300m ow, if ever. Infinity War will challenge TLJ for #2 all time ow though, but I don't think it matches TFA.

Love the hype and craziness around this! I’m seeing it tonight and can’t wait! Nothing will match TFA ow and dom run, but this should be fairly close and a $100m od and $215m-ish ow or so I think. -
I agree...I mean no recent 7th film had a big ow and then a multi like that. Like imagine a 7th film with an ow twice that even! Would awaken some forceful feelings in me. I know it's not really comparable but still lol

I don't think you're giving Moonlight its fair due, but I agree La La Land was the best movie of 2016. Also, while Fury Road was great, it's your own fault if you actually expected it to win. It never had a chance to win best picture.
