  1. WB does have somewhat of a relationship with QT. They released True Romance and Natural Born Killers, both scripts written by Tarantino. Granted those where directed by Tony Scott and Oliver Stone respectively but the connection with Quentin is there. I still prefer Paramount as the new home for QT.
  2. Ridley Scott must really want that Best Director Nom if he wants to remove Spacey that badly.
  3. I saw this one a couple of weeks ago in theaters. It's very refreshing to see Tom Cruise in an anti-hero role since Collateral in 2004.
  4. I love Spielberg, I really love Hanks, the movie looks pretty good and all but no way in freaking hell I'm gonna support a woman who publicly supported a child rapist (Polanski) and called Harvey Weinstein in an acceptance speech a "god". Screw you, Streep.
  5. To give a little context about how fucking big Raganarok's opening is... Days of Future Past (2014) - 118,520 Age of Ultron (2015) - 203,501 Batman V Superman (2016) - 116.491 Civil War (2016) - 109.647 And none of the other SH movies this year broke the 100k admission bar so yes, this is the biggest OW for a CBM this year by a wide margin. The only movie that was bigger this year in OW was Beauty and the Beast with 144,440 tickets. And Ultron still beats it all time.

  7. Well, looks like will get the Fox fanfare back in the Star Wars movies if this deal goes through. And a friendly reminder to the people who think Deadpool will be pussyfied by Disney: Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Gangs Of New York, Sin City. All of those released by Disney under the Miramax banner. Daredevil, The Punisher, and other Marvel Netflix shows rated TV MA produced by ABC Studios owned by Disney. And they still have Touchstone for Adult fare movies too.
  8. Damn, this Kevin Spacey thing is a big blow for me. He was my current working favorite actor and I deeply admired his work. This scandal is just depressive as fuck.
  9. Wow, Seven Deadly Sins is a badass show. Melodias is the first OP character that I actually liked in anime. Hawk FTW. I have yet to watch the special 4 episodes but I will. Currently watching: Monster (17 eps left), Re: Zero and Food Wars: Second Plate.

  15. Finished Grimgar of fantasy and ash and Snow White with the red hair. Slow start with Grimgar but man does it really pick up later on. I really hope we get a 2nd season. And Snow White is just so... so fucking sweet. Loved it all the way through. Currently watching: Gate, Monster and Seven Deadly Sins. Pretty good schedule I'm having right now.
  16. It is. There have been many cases where the 2nd weekend is higher than the opening weekend.

  20. Oh Baby Driver is not really about cars, It's more about the character and music since Baby (yes, his name is Baby) suffered a car accident with his parents as a kid and because of that he has buzzing problems in his ears and he listen to music in his ipod as a way to drown the buzzing, therefore the movie is filmed in such a way that every movement, cars crashing, punching, etc. is sincronized with whatever music Baby is playing in his Ipod and the song often fits the scene really well. It's a musical without really being a musical in a way. The soundtrack is out of this world too. I highly recommend you to watch it whenever you can. And yeah, the Kingsman 2 thing bums me out. I hope the Fox problem gets solved soon or we will never get Shape of Water, Murder on the Oriental Express or... fuck... Deadpool 2.
  21. That comes out in September 22. Don't know if i'll have enough money for that one though. I'm saving for IT and Blade Runner 2049. I'm really pumped for those two. Oh, did I mention how much I love Baby Driver? Movie of the year for me so far.
