  1. @Cap and the other folks who are on location. Are any of you attending the premiere screening of the first two episodes of Harley Quinn Season 3 tonight at 10 in Room 5AB?
  2. Kamala Khan co-creator Sana Amanat revealed she always wanted the character to be a mutant, which makes a lot of sense in that nobody would want their character to be an Inhuman Too bad she probably got vetoed thanks to Petty Perlmutter and his Creative Committee comic counterparts trying to make their fetch franchise happen to get back at Fox. Feige to the rescue again.
  3. Also as someone who has a friend working at one of these VFX houses who just quit his job because it wasn't worth it, the working hours are terrible, the salary is miserable and the environment tends to become increasingly toxic as pressure starts pouring down the hierarchy
  4. Ya'll out here ranting about Gen Z "having a cushy life" when they are the first generation to have had active school shooter drills in classes and traumatized to the point of breakdown as kids with the possibility of getting shot in the middle of a Pop Quiz 🙄 And let's not even get into the additional trauma of being an LGBT or trans kid or a POC kid in MAGAland. But I guess they need to be tougher because they haven't put shingles on roofs GTFO with that bs. If you haven't helped make life easier for the next generation, then you are part of the problem.
  5. Yeah it was the pap photos because I remember commenting on the sudden hate he began to receive once they leaked. The comments were especially vitriolic on some other sites that discussed the photos. People don't realize how much of a self-tell it is about their own sad lives when they display so much rage and anguish over someone 'daring' to show off in such a harmless way. Envy truly is the most miserable of the sins.
  6. Let's be real, nobody in their senses is gonna say The Dark World is a superior film to Love & Thunder. The critical reaction to the Phase 4 films is only shocking in comparison because many RT critics went easy on superhero films a decade ago because there still wasn't a mass production of CBM content at the level that currently exists. If TDW got the RT score it deserved (in the whereabouts of 40-45%) then the reactions to the scores of Eternals, DS2 and L&T would be much more muted.
  7. Is L&T REALLY worse than OG Thor? I HAVE DOUBTS without even seeing the movie. Critics seem to have reached a certain extent of MCU saturation where they are now being more critical than they were previously, which was bound to happen. As long as these movies don't start dropping into the Rotten zone like Eternals and their BO isn't affected, they should be good. It does seem that they would've been better off adapting either the Jane Thor storyline or the Gorr storyline and not both.
  8. It's a fucking Minions film, middle aged people can STFU about 'rowdy kids'. Also, 2 years of youth going away is a much bigger loss than going into the pandemic at 52 and coming out at 54.
  9. On a more positive note, the show vs. movie format really benefits the supporting cast. Mama Muneeba's characterization >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the decremental crumbs given to poor Marisa Tomei and the Aunty May actresses before her
  10. Yeah, Marvel really said Wanna bet, bitch? to 'A hero is only as good as their villains' I hope once the superior Fantastic Four and X-Men villains debut in the MCU, they start moving around and menacing other heroes too. It's fun in the comics when an X-Men villain like Juggernaut or FF villain like Doctor Doom is fighting an Avenger or Spider-Man. The few good villains in the MCU don't need to be killed off in just one film or turned into an anti-hero. They seem to have finally gotten the ball rolling with Kang/Immortus in Loki and Quantum Mania so fingers crossed that practice continues in other movies and shows.
  11. TBF the song will probably become a viral trend next year without being officially associated with the movie But an official association and Mattel/Aqua finally burying their petty hatchet can't hurt
  12. After seeing what TikTok and that Yeats song did for Minions 2 box office, WB should tell Mattel to cut their crap and play nice with Aqua. Barbie Girl was a TikTok song before TikTok was even invented. Marketing for this movie should play it all over, especially seeing how it perfectly fits the tone of the actual film (going by everything we've seen of it so far).
  13. Mason Thames is a superstar in the making. Most impressive under 15 child actor performance for me since Jack Dylan Grazer in It.
  14. Uni execs asking the Minions to sacrifice 10M for the Dino Billie cause
  15. What mid Phase 1 movie had moments like these? The way some of ya'll cape for the mediocre Perlmutter era. That's not to say Phases 1 & 2 didn't have strong films but IMO Phase 4 is already the second best phase and we are just reaching the halfway point for it.
