the strike will raise costs too , not sure how much , they have to de-age Cruise to match older footage

i think September was there only option to secure a longer PLF run, it was too late for anything else. I think it would be late September like it was originally before. Venom did well around then, why would MI struggle that much ?

Paramount movies are not exclusive to P+ they appear on other services after a few months. Maverick and other recent films are on Prime video for free. streaming won't save a movie if interest is not there. Indy movies on D+ created little added interest . The problem is MI films never open big and rely on wom, but its a big issue when three other movies are sucking up all the oxygen (Barbie, Oppenheimer & Sound Of Freedom) . And if you missed PLF on opening weekend, most will just wait for vod.

i wouldn't expect DR2 to make much more, the franchise is getting stale, no one in cast puts butts in seats besides Cruise, i bet Paramount is freaking out now

also they didn't release MI for imax, which i mean expanded ratio, it means a lot to the community , they canceled it at last minute , big mistake

if this doesn't end in a month , I'm thinking its settled in November or January i don't see why the studios don't meet somewhere in the middle with residuals , they must be scared shitless with reporting real streaming numbers, all this AI demands from the studios should be dropped for the next 3 years -

no idea if this will be good , just has to be fun like the last one . But a lot of that was due to chemistry between SLJ and Larson , not sure if Samuel is in it much.
