    That numbers for GOTG seems too good to be true to me. And then I also see that it's Nikki's numbers. Last weekend, GOTG wasn't performing all that well on West Coast and that's why early numbers went down. I could see that'll be the case this time too.TMNT is doing well I see. That's great.

    Good review, dash. I always enjoyed reading your thoughts.The second time I watched it, I noticed more flaws and awkward disjointed moments, but overall, it was fun and very enjoyable so I give it a pass. So quality-wise, it's definitely not above CA2 or The Avengers (I think Whedon's writing skills benefit him a lot more than Gunn's) but as a first outing with an ensemble team, it was handled quite well IMO.And BTW, I think you might have just typed out Tele's review for him, especially that patented B- grade

    I kinda agree. I looked forward to the movie cause of Chris Pratt (or Andy Dwyer) but coming out, the ones leaving the most impressions on me are Yondu and Groot/Rocket. I also love the Bautista and Saldana more too. But Chris Pratt still did a good job as a leading man though. Just not as impressive as the others to me.

    I hope it does well, would be nice if August outperform July. 2014 will have one more thing to be remembered about beside the insane amount of 90M+ openers, good quality movies but disappointing/underwhelming BO.

    Goodness, I like Guardians. But why does people have to be so butthurt and bitter if TMNT perform well? This summer BO needs the most help it can get, so I hope TMNT will do well. And the movie looks like harmless nostalgia fun, why the hate?

    Yeah, for one thing Some scenes just has to be filmed for promotion purposes. That was kinda like a head count scene for GOTG.

    I noticed that they didn't censor out that part in the movie. Weird, but the censoring is more hilarious tbh.

    The both times I watched the trailers for this that was attached to GOTG, it was met with very enthusiastic response.It looks like a fun adventure to me, hopefully it'll do well.
