I just couldn't find a theater near me that plays it. I might have to opt for downloading online instead I like Scarlett Johansson before, but she's been doing great lately with all these interesting roles. Looking forward to Lucy.

Ah, glad to hear. I gotta find time to watch it. I have a feeling I'll enjoy the movie like you do cause I did like Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in their roles. Had no expectations for the scripts/screenplay with K&O at the helm though so I'm a bit skeptical.

I haven't time to look at Twitter yet. So it's busy recently? Cause last time I checked, I found that Twitter activity was strangely low for a big movie opening early OS in many territories. Tumblr, which is pretty much a Marvel-filled land, has been on the quieter side as well.

I have a bit of a hard time computing the reality of a Spidey movie opening under a Captain America movie. With the early OS reactions (or lack thereof) and competitions ahead, I know that legs won't be pretty, but I always thought that OW should be mostly unaffected.

I'm thinking around 2M Friday is likely. That's about 150% bump, same as last week. Seems a bit generous with Spidey opening but I'm hopeful.

Shame. I was thinking that this movie would make it to over 100M more likely than it would miss it. Should still get a really nice Sat bump from family audience though.

What are the top two OD?That's a good number for Spidey. Opening on Labor Day certainly helps. I think we're in for a very good OW here.

Revisionism starts early, huh? I didn't remember you mentioning that when predicting Cap's OW. Most people brought up was how Thor 2 did and how Cap should do about the same or worse.

It's inevitable that Cap will be one of the hardest to be hit by Spidey's arrival. Spidey is Cap's first direct competition.I hope for good recovery today, but I say that a 50%+ drop is expected and not at all a bad indication or anything. It should bounce back during next week.

What date is the OS figure $428.20M up to? Cause that's pretty low if it's up to Thursday, which is Labor Day holiday.
