    Sony wants you to just listen to them and believes that TASM2 OW is 91.6M. However, please remember that whenever you calculate the second weekend drop or multiplier in the future, its true OW is only 82.9M

    This is awesome. So TASM2 is heading for a 2.6x multiplier and more base on this "true" OW. That's just great.

    Yeah, base on the chart, Cap got a 3x multiplier off of an inflated by holiday 3-day OW. I don't think TASM2 could follow the same pattern. And that's not because of WOM (which Olive said is pretty good) but rather upcoming competitions.

    That would be pretty optimistic though cause Cap has good weekend drop for blockbuster movies in China. I don't think it has a single 60%+ weekend drop during its run.

    Whatever imaginary battles you think you're fighting for in Thor's honor, buddy, you're fighting the wrong ones. There's a lot of Marvel fans here who love both characters and want to see their movies achieving big success. Even though TDW came in a bit short of expectations, it was still a hit. And us fans all want Thor 3 to be handled even better creative-wise, thus, reaching the great potential in both BO and quality that a Thor movie has.

    It was a misunderstanding B. You asked how TA2 would do but firedeep (or some other member) thought you was asking about TASM2. That's why they said likely $100M

    :lol:I do believe. And I'm beyond happy with the numbers. Just a bit questioningly impressed by that OS total. Cause that's a 14M+ OS weekend, barely a drop from last weekend.

    They projected a 41%+ Sun drop? Ouch.

    It should. Cause with a 3.6M Sat, even if it dropped 37% on Sun, it'll get to 7.9M weekend. We'll see.

    Should be close. Rio2 has a huge Sat jump and likely better Sun drop if last weekend is to go by.

    Don't worry. No one is doing that. It's why the members still reply to you, countering your arguments with accurate stats and numbers that you refused to see. A lot of us would want you to grab your balls and go away. But then, we don't always get what we want. Shame.

    With that Sat increase, Cap would come real close to a 8M weekend. That's a good drop for it.

    Ah, I see. Thanks. With 34-35 Sat, studio estimates on Sun has a very good chance of going over 95M.
