  1. Frozen is playing at 1 theater this week, right? I hope we'll see good numbers. I have many friends and coworkers who plan to see it next week with their families, it could be big, or at least big where I live.
  2. Yeah, now that you mentioned it, haven't seen him posting in this weekend thread
  3. Good for it. At least you have something to chew on, I'm glad for you.
  4. LOL, both MOS and IM3 got mentioned when the topic has nothing to do with them. That's Ed for ya, he has found his new calling after the intervention on TDKR we gave him
  5. So I noticed that we can get "likes" by posting pretty much anything as long as it's in this thread right now. Great time to hoard the likes
  6. Well, that was one hell of a thread to catch up on. No one cares to report The Delivery Man numbers?
  7. Hehe, yeah, guess I am. I've been trying to catch movies I want to see during weekdays in between classes' time cause I recently started working full-time on weekends. Movies is a good kind of entertainment and stress-reliever for me, especially now that I have school interviews lining up and all kinds of tests to study for
  8. Use this archive thread to navigate and find review threads for movies you want (the mods always keep it up-to-date from what I see): http://forums.boxoffice.com/index.php?/topic/91-rtm-archive-with-links-to-all-movies/
  9. 1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2. Wolf of Wall Street 3. Her 4. Frozen 5. Snowpiercer 6. Saving Mr. Banks 7. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues 8. American Hustle 9. The Wind Rises 10. How To Train Your Dragon 2
  10. Hmm, that's weird. I read that the movie followed the book very closely. And to me, the book plot/content is pretty straightforward, nothing mysterious or too complicated to understand.
  11. Maybe the revolution theme of the movie not connecting well with audience?
  12. X-Men: C+ X2: X-Men United: B X-Men: The Last Stand: C- X-Men Origins: Wolverine: D X-Men First Class: A- The Wolverine: B
  13. I did write a review for All Is Lost in RTM thread, but it's not really a review cause I basically just agreed with Spaghetti's proper review above me. Robert Redford was incredible! I'll try to put up my thoughts for DBC in its review thread. My overall opinion is that it's well-made, acting performances are top-notch all around, but for some reasons, the story didn't connect much with me, and it's somewhat unsatisfying. Still like it a lot though, I'd given it an A-. And yeah, Matthew is definitely on a roll, he was good in Mud and DBC, and looks to be killing it in Wolf of Wall Street too. I used to be neutral towards him but I'm becoming a fan.
  14. BTW, Leyla, I think you will love Dallas Buyers Club. Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto are both great in their roles, worthy of all the hype
  15. Ah, I see. I don't like THG that much, aside from JLaw and Stanley Tucci, it was pretty okay for me. CF looks way better from trailers and TV spots so I hope it'll deliver, especially the actual game execution, which was what disappointed me the most in THG.
  16. Shouldn't LOP have a bigger advantage than Gravity on the virtue of being directed by Ang Lee?
