  1. Well, not necessarily. With expanded markets, some can make up for the rest. We will get some indications soon. Tomorrow. But so far, it's looking good: - South Korea OW is more than doubled SR, and I think it can get to 20M+ there. - The Philippines looks to tripled SR total at the least with that record OD, 12M+. -Taiwan number is pretty good, I'm thinking 10M+ - SR did 30M in UK, and MOS is looking to head for a great OW. 40M+ is definitely doable. Then we have China, Russia, and Australia. MOS is a spectacle big action movie, should do well in Latin America too. And that OD number you posted for India is amazing, just slightly behind IM3, so can we expect 10M+ over there? That would be more than tripled SR's
  2. For me, it's 2D for life. Unless with special ones that are like Avatar or Life of Pi
  3. That looks good. 80M+ for 24 markets would be a good start, and that's just the base, it can surprise us and go for more. Also, no major markets like China, Russia, or Aus, France, Germany, etc... yet.
  4. Ouch. Is there something going on here, cause I thought the partnership was a big deal and should have helped?
  5. That makes much more sense and of course, accurate. So with 500k Friday, what's it looking at for the weekend? 1.7M+
  6. Poor GL, can't catch a break even after 2 years Well, the fact that its terrible BO performance is mentioned together with MOS is an honor I guess
  7. Hmm, so even after the confirmed partnership that should help WB major releases in China, looks like MOS is still getting screwed somewhat by them? How much would Jet Li movie affect MOS?
  8. 80M would be good, how many markets are they accounted for?
  9. Why would it win by dollars if admissions fall behind? 3D and IMAX?
  10. Thanks. I was asking earlier, but no answer. Would MOS be No.1 for the weekend? Cause I figure its 4-day will be counted while a normal 3-day weekend for SG.
  11. Off topic but if the estimates from BO.com hold, those are some impressive holds for NYSM, STiD, and IM3. Good for FF6 and Epic too. As well as hilarious drop for AE and THO3
  12. I think they're gonna sell Supes merchandise regardless if there's no ticket deal with WB. But maybe in exchange for the 12M worth of tickets, they get a better deal in merchandise, like getting a bigger cut out of Supes merchandise or something.
  13. What's the normal Sunday drop for opener in Summer?
  14. I was surprised how little WB care to salvage THO3. They bumped theater counts for 42 yet letting THO3 drop like 1300+ :lol:And agree, STiD is showing good legs
  15. So early estimates was 45M, now official estimate is 44M. Thats good. Great number for MOS Ah, I'm so tired after yesterday, hope to get to see the movie as soon as possible.
  16. I stand corrected. That is awesome jump for both movies. Good call efialtes76. Respect B)Looks like around 1.2M admissions for MOS OW. Pretty good. Will it be No.1? Since its a 4-day debut, that takes into account all 4 days while Secretly Greatly weekend should just be 3 days?
  17. So I just woke up after a long tiring day and wow, 51M That's really incredible! Hopefully I'll be able to see this tomorrow
  18. Amazing for NYSM 1.25M, who would have thought, wow.
  19. Yeah, I'm thinking a 60% bump for Sat too. Or 70% at best, hard time seeing it can jump bigger than IM3. Considering that Secretly Great broke OW records, its 2nd weekend performance so far is rather disappointing.
  20. Yeah, I figured IM1 must have had good reception to leg it out to 25M from a 5M debut. But if MOS opened to at least 2M higher, then I think 20M can be reached. I think that you gave MOS a rather generous Sat jump. IM3 jumped 80% on Sat. And remember this is summer, unlike when IM3 opened, schools were still in sessions, thus allowing Sat jump to be bigger, as well as softer Sun drop. Also, the competition from Secretly Greatly must be accounted for too.
  21. 12M is a lot though I'm assuming that's the price WM pay WB up front. Cause at my local WM, 2D is 8 dollars while 3D is 10 dollars. Ticket prices must vary across the country then for WM to make any profit off of them.
