If by hope you mean WB firing Snyder that may not be enough. I think there may be studio interference involved in the issues this movie had as well which may happen for the next replacement director.

Hey now FOX has X-Men and if they take another chance with a character similar to Deadpool's solo movie then they might end up with further success who knows.

I would really like to see a WB hack so we can see the emails of the top WB execs and what they have to say about the movie and possible actors, directors and writers in the industry similar to that Sony hack.

Aren't those Int'l numbers a bit deceptive though. I mean the movie had the advantage of opening everywhere at the same time unlike previous comic book movies global totals.

It will continue but hopefully not in it's current form. WB / DC needs to take a step back and make some creative decisions in terms of the director / writer and this "brain trust" they've put in place. Hopefully its just the direction of the movie and the ideas of the creative team can still turn out a quality movie.

I don't think much people will be excited for SS after this movie. If this movie had turned out better WB could've used some of the events in it or something in their marketing for SS to build up hype since both are in the same universe.

Studio estimates are almost always lower than the actuals, so I'm guessing that the 37.2M Sunday that WB predict might actually go higher probably 39-40M?

Don't forget that Mayeather fight of the century. I think AOU was on track for around 210M if not for all these factors.
