A fascinating picture.

 

It's a unique picture of a student becoming obsessed with a friend's family, using it as fuel to tell his stories, but the lines soon blur between reality and fiction in what he writes, leaving the audience guessing as to what is real as the film approaches its final stretch. 

 

The film becomes a bit muddled near the end, but it's still a well crafted, well written little film that deserves a look, and it's one of the better movies to be released this year so far.

a movie that feels fresh and creative, and you never know for sure how it's going to end. that's a priceless for me. Great score too.
