Hernan Gonzalez
Annabelle is easily winning the weekend selling more tickets than the sum of the other 9 movies in the Top Ten. The weird thing is that on Halloween Annabelle is falling harder than any other Top Ten movie, even though it is dropping only 35%. Wild Tales falls only 9%, Dracula and Book of Life around 23%. And Rec4 closes the Top 5 with a poor opening.

James
Titanic is impressive, Chile was a much smaller market back then I guess it had a lot to do with ticket prices. Titanic made about the same number of admissions her, but the price for a ticket back then was insignificant.

I don't know about Chile but in Argentina the prices in US dollars didn't change much. The ticket price was around $5 back in 1998 and now it's around $5.

That's the reason why, at least here, we have movies with more than 1M admissions in the 1990-2000 era, and only 1 movie to pass 400.000 admissions ever since (The Hobbit 1). Funny thing is, Titanic is not even the most attended movie here, but even so, it's gross in USD (even if it made close ro 1.4M adm) is around $ 50.000. So the ticket price was around $5, just a little bit less than now. I think the chilean economy is pretty steady, but Fullbuster knows so much more than me in that subject

Hernan Gonzalez
What can we expect from interstellar? Best and worst case scenario wise. Let's wait until we have the OD numbers tomorrow morning. Users at the most important argentinean Web site gave it 8.8/10 but there is not so much noise online about it... The first newspapers reviews are also good.
