We shouldn't forget that on Christmas day Paddington started its run in cinemas (#8 with 270Keuros). It have good reviews here and WoM could be stronger than BH6, so  the bear from Peru could become the first choice for family with little ones (especially girls) aged under 8/9 years.

Hobbit trilogy after the 26th:

1. AUJ 10,8 M EU

2. DOS 8,9 M EU

3. BOFA 8,3 M EU

You know better than me that it's not an apples to apples comparison but considering than BOFA trailed AUJ on CD and on 26th it's not going to make 16 M EU. 13.5-14.5 is more likely.

Yes, I know. In fact BOFA beat it during CD and 26th and that's why I think it will surpass it. But BOFA is losing ground to AUJ (despite it opened also a Week earlier) so there's no way it closes the gap before the end of its run (considering they both have the same amount of holiday still to do).

The only "advantage" that BOFA has on AUJ is the fact that 6th Jan - Holiday here - falls on Tuesday instead of Sunday. But that won't make miracles.

I will be happy to see BOFA beating DOS and it needs €14.5m to do that with the actual exchange rate

You are right. BOFA did better than DOS but BH6 is not as strong as Elsa and Anna. Also the local movies are doing worst than last year.

BTW, do you see Big Hero 6 over $10m by the end of its run?

Ending under 10M$ is hard to believe for BH6 even if it is working a bit lower any reasonable predictions. I think 12/13M$ and #1 animation of 2014 is still possible: it had grossed constantly +25/30% vs WiR and - 45/50% vs Frozen that grossed about 20M euros, so it should end about 10 mil euros or over. Obviously the risk is that it don't have the same legs, and we know well that kind of legs Frozen had.
