Its been done before so you know what to expect but Hamm, Arkin, Paxton and the Indian actors all have good chemistry and its a good film. 4/5

It was alright. Well done for the type of movie it is. I had a good time at it personally, but it really depends on your feeling on these type of movies. B

Million Dollar Arm has a great lead talent in Jon Hamm but the movie succeed's because of the amazing trio of the boys from India. The actors Madhur Mittal (Slumdog Millionaire), Suraj Sharma (Life of Pi), and Pitobash Tripathy (This is his first Hollywood film. He's been in nothing but Bollywood films) have great chemistry together. Alan Arkin brings in some good comic relief and has a pretty funny scene toward the end of the film. 

The film can be a little slow in the beginning and I would of like to see Aasif Mandvi just a little more but overall the film is very satisfying, funny, makes it easy to root for its characters, and knows how to tug on the heart strings.

Grade: B+

Arkin helped with some comedic moments, and Paxton was needed but nothing special.

The one thing that bothered me about this movie was that, wouldn't these kids start somewhere in the minor leagues to develop, instead of just starting in the majors.

it was a decent movie. Pretty predictable though. What bothered me most was them showing only the bad undeveloped side of India. I don't know why Hollywood has to just show every developing country as backwards and a dump.
