There was no marketing what so ever for Jason Bourne. The distributor announced the relese date like two weeks before the opening day and no trailers in theaters and a few posters here and there. HORRIBLE MARKETING JOB AT UIP VENEZUELA!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!! However I still have hope because JB is still a well known franchise here so word of mouth will benefit the movie on the long run. Perhaps this will be the alternative for moviegoers next weeks when Suicide Squad tickets sell out, so it plays as counter-programming. TalismanRing
From Deadline Quote Venezuela also bested the main comp by 684% (and Star Trek by an astonishing 3701%) despite opening at No. 4. STB took $1.4M at 70 sites. Is Paramount using a different exchange rate than every other studio? According to BOM they also have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows at $7,306,069 http://www.boxofficemojo.com/intl/venezuela/yearly/
