oooo I want to play! I hope I do well. This is first year I started keeping track of my predicts before nominations were announced.

Well its funny what films were considered contenders at one point.Do you guys remember these being Oscar contenders? I do.WindtalkersMessenger: Story of Joan of ArcK-PAX (Which I will admit I wanted Spacy nominated at the time)And many others you would not expect.

I certainly remember Messenger and K-PAX being predicted early. I also remember seeing both in theaters and realizing it wasn't going to happen

Pearl Harbor was one. Just watch the trailers even.And now this one was not but back in 1996 when I was 14 I would of thought it should of been-ID4

GI Jane was another one that was considered at one point.Then some like "The Mighty" were considered but had such low box office that they ignored them.

There was this trailer I found for this Sean Connery film called "The Russia House" that came out in 1990 that when I watch it I went "Gee someone was trying hard to win a Oscar with this film"There was another one from that year called "Havana" that the director apparently thought he had the next "Casablanca"
