I just got done watching this just a little bit ago on DVD and I will admit I like this movie which is about the short life of August 1979 playboy playmate/1980 playmate of the year Dorothy Stratten and her relationship with her husband/manager Paul Snider. Why I liked this movie is that it feels like as if this was what Dorothy Stratten and Paul Snider were like in real life and I also like the soundtrack to this as well. Anyway a good movie but yet disturbing(especially near the end),Eric Roberts gives a good performance as Paul Snider as well as the rest of the cast including Mariel Hemingway who which has a resemblance to Stratten which made it feel somewhat real. Grade:B+ (disturbing and underrated).
